I'll have you know that the local town crackhead is a distinguished and well respected member of this community. I'll not tolerate you grouping him in with the less reputable shady characters.
He's so well-respected that he can apparently post videos of people getting shot to death on social media, and not only does it not get taken down, it gets used as evidence in one of Gen Hope's lightning fast court cases.
Also imagine being given drugs with no description and NO PRICE POINT! "How much did you sell the drugs for?" "Two arizona ice teas and this cool rock that looks like a person."
My sister, who's around 13, told me that her class watches Dhar Mann videos. No one takes them seriously, not even the teachers, but they still watch them. Apparently, they're trying to get the teachers into Gen Hope as well . . . Not sure how good an idea that is and I'm not sure if I should find this hilarious or concerning. EDIT: We're Canadian so I find these jokes about the American education system quite funny.

"Get down at your knees." So, the subtitles are frequently wrong, but they managed to match the flubbed line. It's the uncertainty that makes Gen Hope so compelling!
So gen hope exists within gen hope? Does that mean that gen hope exists within that gen hope, and so on and so on? Is this some kind of infinite mobius matryoshka?
You need to watch generation hope's evil stepmother/evil fostermom part 1 - 5, it's an insane rollecoaster ride especially the final part, watch it in order
honestly this react series would be great for super beginner film students to avoid doing these mistakes, most genhope-isms just come down to that lmao
there are two paths you could take on The people in Gen. Hope watching Gen . Hope. The First is that any characters that canonically watch gen hope are obsessed fnas which have created the Set in its entirety to the finest details. This would explain why there are so many reoccurring set pieces like 1984 and the shark. The videos we see of these people would be themselves role playing as if they were Gen. Hope characters themselves which would explain why the acting is bad and also why the violence is so tame/staged looking, because they aren't actually trying to hurt each other just live the fantasy. The fact that these people do awful things could also be a comment on fandom culture and how people become so obsessed with works of fiction that it comes their entire identity and often leads to a toxic lifestyle. The other angle is that Gen. Hope is actually a commentary on our society, but not that people do fucked up things. More that we like to view scenarios in which morality is boiled down to simple good vs bad, often literally black and white, projecting ourselves onto the "good" and taking the moral high ground without actually having to do any good. In this theory, we aren't the people in Gen. Hope videos but the people in Gen. Hope videos THAT WATCH Gen. Hope videos. Any media they produce that doesn't have characters that canonically watch Gen. Hope are merely to strengthen the idea that we as a society are the characters in Gen. Hope that watch Gen. Hope. Either way you look at it Generation Hope is a meta analysis of the human race, whether its people who obsess over fiction or society as a whole. thank you for coming to my ted talk
I love how Gen Hope is so bad at casting people who match the character's ages. Jamal is clearly supposed to be a small child considering how Darnell gives him a stuffed animal and told him it would protect him and whatever, but Jamal looks like a teenager. Darnell is supposed to be a teenager because other characters refer to him as "kid" but he looks like he's in his late 20s
I feel like the message of this story isn't "don't deal drugs," so much as it is, "dealing drugs is a very lucrative business as long as you don't get in too deep." He didn't have any negative consequences for dealing drugs to kids aside from feeling bad about it.
If anything, the only reason he was able to make the money for the surgery was because of the drugs. If he didn’t, his brother absolutely would’ve just died before he could make the money for it.
This should've been prevented but racist cop accidentally uninstalled Word Farm Adventure so he only knew words he learned around the police station

"Teacher's got a hangover today, kids. So instead of our usual lesson, I'm gonna let Spirit Science take over. Be sure to take notes."
I did not expect Generation Hope to mute "THE" word. At least the local crackhead saving the day was an enjoyable conclusion.

i reckon the N-word wasn't even in the script, the actor playing the cop was just a fantastic method actor
Only in a Gen Hope video would a black man accept a bag of cocaine from a literal cop and not immediately think it's a sting operation.
