I'm trying to find a good reasonably prices source for book cloth I would like to use that in project. I've found a few but when i factor in shipping it's crazy expensive. But I have not given up. Daphne
Corene's Creations...yup I watched a bunch of videos before finding her and her video about the concept of building an album. That was a discovery that was not only timely but it got through to me, like a light bulb went off. I highly recommend all new album makers watch that video!
ok Lisa - this is becoming a project for you too. I'm beginning the page design...how many 8 x 10 photos do you want to accommodate in the album? This will greatly influence how I design flaps and pockets. Daphne
@@ScrapNCreateVideos I'd say probably 2-4. The pocket pages could also be used to house 8x10s, if the owner so chooses, which would give you more creative freedom in your design. I was thinking maybe an 8 by 10 on page 3 and 7 or something along those lines. I'm not actually too picky at all; I'm just happy to see you create an album this size! It's going to be fantastic no matter how you design it.
I'm not sure we'll be able to use the pockets due to the sheer weight of the pages. I'll figure out if we can use the pocket pages first then design the flaps.
If you score 1/2 inch before your first mountain and 1/2 inch after your last mountain and then the space you want to leave 1 inch or 3/4 when you place it in the chipboard it should be align the 1/2 inch with the hinge in the cover in each side. Sorry for my English my language is Spanish
This album will use the Voyage Beneath the Sea - Graphic 45 DCE. I plan to use two DCE's. I'm still working on the design I'm hoping two DCE's will be enough it's a really large format. Because of the base page size it mean's I'll only have 3 x 1 inch scraps.... in the smaller formats I have a 4 x 12 inch panel to reuse for flaps and pockets. Daphne
Oh boy, this is going to be a big daddy album! Will be exciting watching this! Afraid of the book tape! I understand the need for it but can see it going bad fast! TYFS! 💖💖💖🌹🤓
Can you tell me where you got the white measurement "label" for you CutterPro? I have a CutterPro but have a really hard time reading the green plastic measurements. (Looking forward to trying an album this size. Thanks for all of the "tips" for measuring and sizing.
Book cloth we have it in some stores in PR very difficult to find and is quite expensive but is amazing and strong

I’m thrilled that you’re doing a larger album! I can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with the pages!
It is large! working on the design right now. Daphne

It's actually metal. It was the first generation of the cutterpillar pro they don't make them anymore.
Have you used tyveck to make your albums I seen this in a few other people albums to -prevent cracking
I have not tried it. Do you cover if with paper of does it replace paper in the hinge area's?
@@ScrapNCreateVideos it goes behind the chipboard pieces before you wrap the chipboard to support the spine area
Are we going to see the finished book?
Yes working on it right now - it's going to feature Graphic 45's DCE Voyage Beneath the Sea. I'll be using (2) DCE's for this project. Daphne
