❤ Believe it or not... when Martin first finished singing "But Not Tonight" last night at Crypto.. there was a lot of cheering and then it got quiet and the stage lights went Dark and very spontaneously as if overcome with emotion... i was the one in the audience who was loudly singing the final melody after the song was long over... and as Dave came back on stage he said out loud... "is someone still singing!??? "... and quite franky i almost died at that moment !!!! Many other fans in the audience started joining in with me and we all continued singing the final melody... And then Dave motioned his hands and said "and i guess we are not done yet " and decided to let us all continue singing the song melody a bit and the whole arena continued singing the melody together. With keyboards being played ! And Martin and Dave both smiled. Truly magical moment last night. And I could tell the whole band appreciated that moment as well 😊 I was truly overwhelmed and over joyed... does anyone else remember that moment last night and what happened after Martin finished singing "But not tonight" ? My most FAVORITE SONG IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!! I remember the first time I heard it. On KROQ on my clock radio. Lol. Dave was singing it of course. It was awesome. Hearing it and seeing it live performed by Martin was magical for me. I don't care if I sound cheesy. AMAZING SONG FROM AN AMAZING BAND!! ❤

Black Celebration is one of my favorites and in my eyes has always been Alan in it with the incredible sounds… but this version is absolutely beautiful. So instead Piano I meant keyboard Synthesizer… I’ve always pictured Alan on the keyboards with this song.

A beautiful song that the band hated for many years due to handle by record company (swapping stripped for it in the US against their will). I love they seem to have changed their mind about it, it might not be as good as stripped but still a very nice song.
Gordeno is underrated but the heavyness of his interprétation on the keyboard is a bit annoying here for our ears especially at the end. Though , thanks for sharing.
L'interprétation ne vient peut-être pas de Gordeno mais de Martin. C'est plutôt son style. Des chansons de ballades. C'est comme Enjoy the silence. Au départ , elle ne devait pas être comme nous la connaissons à l'heure actuelle. Elle devait être plutôt dans le style d'une ballade. Interview de Flood à l'époque. Gordeno est un très bon musicien , mais il ne faut pas non plus tout lui remettre sur le dos. C'est comme Strangelove version live par Martin. La même version sur Music for the masses ? Je n'ose même pas imaginer le résultat. C'est sûr qu'elle n aurait pas eu le même impact que chanté par Dave. 😉😉
