As a medical professional, this is what I have done for years wearing a mask in different hospitals. To avoid foggy lenses. 1. simply wash your lenses with soapy water and shake off the excess liquid. You can allow your lenses to air dry or gently wipe them off with a soft cloth before wearing your glasses again. Why does this method work? The soap leaves behind a thin film that acts as a fog barrier. 2. A secure fit will keep the warm air from escaping through the top of the mask. Don’t wear loose masks. The tighter the better unfortunately for glass wearers. 3. You can tape your mask down around the bridge of your nose and to your cheeks with sports or medical tape. Don’t use duct tape or tape that wasn’t made to be used on the skin. If you have sensitive skin, test the tape out beforehand to make sure that it doesn’t cause irritation, or you can simply use tape that was made for sensitive skin. 3. What I did most often: wipes and sprays out there that are designed to tackle foggy glasses. Keep a bottle in your tack box. There you go..all my knowledge ...
MASKS- thanks for posting this. We are finally showing in about a month and these were great tips! The Cluster actually post a link so that we could find this video. Thanks again!
Hi there, thank you for those tips, very useful and a very good idea for us as like me my glasses are always foggy! Well done for yoir chanel here on TH-cam. Thank you. MASKS!
Hi,this is Roni who have Reise’s pup in Tokyo. We have the habit of wearing mask here in Japan before this world pandemic and I think it really worked as seeing numbers of Corona virus infected people in Japan. It’s getting hot and humid in Summer, and there is a tip to wear mask cooler and feel more comfortable to breeze. Use a drop of organic essential oil of peppermint or spearmint(I use dotera‘a oil) on tissue, and put it inside of mask 😷 It feels so much cooler and like fresh air! Make sure your lips or nose don’t touch the oil part directly.
A little late, but wanted to tell you that I ordered/tried BioGroom Super Foam and Kenra Hairspray. I have/show black Standard Schnauzers and BOTH products work wonderfully!! Thanks for the tips!!
Great tips. I can’t wait for dog events to resume. I’ve got 6 different masks plus a box of disposables. I think my disposables are a little cooler but I love the ability to wash the cloth masks. And of course one is a golden retriever fabric. Masks !
Are conformation shows being started back up already? I know with some performance events (like I do agility), events already began, but keeping safe is a lot easier. If conformation is also back open, hope everyone is able to stay healthy and well and have as much fun as we are able to!
Mask - I have found that finding a comfortable mask is most important if having to wear for extended periods of time. I have 4 masks and have 1-2 that I don’t mind wearing.
Willing to do anything to get back to the shows? Well, first go to the bank and empty out your account and then wire your money over to my account. That makes just about the same sense as wearing masks that do nothing to protect anyone.
“Mask”. I have to go and look at the masks! Hope I can find a monkey........For Affens, you know! Let us know what Phil thinks of the cooling mask. Really could use that!
Casey, dont forget to make sure they are good with face shields, We will be supplying them to our judges if they want to use them, it will be up to the judge.
Love the puppies playing in the background
Hate wearing Marks but will wear if that makes us get back to dog shows sooner.
goldcamp1 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Good stuff, Amy. I appreciate you making this video. We have to keep our dog shows safe, or we're going to lose them.

Good! So glad to hear it.
Great Tips Amy! Wearing MASKS is kind of something we should all get used to for a while. Having cute masks and gaiters will be the norm.
After all, if Bill Gates says that it is a must then we should all get on it. Right?
Love the mask. Can’t wait to get back to showing.

Masks! I could not agree more with you Amy, slight annoyance or discomfort should not outweigh the health or safety of all those around you.

Mask. Could you do some tips on getting your dog used to people wearing a mask.
Absolutely! However at a puppy Mach not long ago here in FL, approx 250 puppies - there were no issues at all. Dogs were phased which was great!
