Hi there Im having trouble with my blacks for sublimation. On tumblers and ceramic mugs. Any sugestions? I am using Silhoutte Studio and I have an SG500 Sawgrass printer
Patiently waiting on your next video lol made a project with an aqua color and it came out blue so frustrating because I’m like why is this color coming out blue ugh lol so hopefully your next video can help me as I’m using a Mac with the most updated software
There’s a good chance that’s the reason! There are a handful of sublimation projects that are pressed at 365, but that’s about the lowest end of the spectrum.
Aloha, my problem is that my printed image does not transfer to the t-shirt. I am printing with Hiipoo sublimation ink on their sublimation paper. I set the temperature to 390 for 50 seconds at medium to high pressure on my heat press and nothing happens. Image will not transfer. And suggestion on what I am doing wrong? Thank you.
I keep ruining materials! Im using HTV paper.. The ink sublimation isn’t transferring to my asub sublimation stickers fully.. some parts look good, and some parts hardly transfer at all. And there is moisture, I use parchment paper.
I have tried everything!! I have an epson 4800 I put the sublimation ink in it. And I have made sure to print several times to make sure the regular ink was out . Now I have tried to transfer to a 97% polyester shirt and it still will not transfer.. I don’t know what else to do. Please help
How many times have you printed to make sure the regular ink was out? You may need hundreds of prints unfortunately. th-cam.com/video/bnUJnHNB-Lk/w-d-xo.html
Weird! It's not available anymore at DyeTrans but I found a similar product at Heat Transfer Warehouse (and it's way cheaper!): www.heattransferwarehouse.com/sublimation-tack-spray/?aff=28
Shipping to Canada is always hard! I feel like everywhere I know of has those crazy shipping prices. Especially with a product like this...there's just not much like it out there.@@shirleysmyth4470
Hello! I’m having an issue that I can’t seem to find anyone else having. I’m printing an image that is a single shade of orange. The print comes out with a pink haze around parts of the image. This happened before with an image with oranges and browns in it. I turned off bidirectional printing and that fixed it. Bidirectional is still off but it’s happening again. Any idea what it could be that’s causing this?
@@HeyLetsMakeStuff idk if I “fixed” it but I at least found a work around. I changed the paper type to Ultra Premium Photo Glossy with Best Quality! It’s just odd it’s the same paper I’ve always used. Same printer. Same settings. So no idea why it changed but I at least got this particular image to work. It sublimated correctly also!
Do you have a way for me to send you a message? I have a white line running through my image and I'm stumped on why. I've been subbing for years and this has never happened. I'd like to send it to you so you can see exactly what I'm dealing with. I've troubleshooted through this video but I'm lost.
Hmm.. have you tried cleaning your print heads? It sounds like your printer may be clogged. If you've tried all that and it still doesn't work, you may want to reach out to the manufacturer. Especially if you've used your printer for a while!
I need more information to help! 😊 What type of tumbler? How did you print your image? What time temperature and pressure settings are you using? What type of heat press?
Finally I found a high-level instructor. Thanks for sharing your valuable knowledge
Thank you! Glad you found this helpful.
Hi Cori! This was a wonderful informations and very helpful video! Thank you very much! Liz 😊💕
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the info. It seems to be very useful.
You're welcome!

Are they coming out green or brown?
Hello I'm having a problem with my printer stopping prints halfway through?? any help with be greatly appreciated.
Sounds like a connectivity issue. Have you tried restarting your computer, printer, router, etc?
Thank you for the information!
Any time!
Thanks for the update on a clogged printer.
It's coming next Tuesday! I was so glad that my Epson FINALLY clogged so I could make the video!
Can you use laser paper fir sublimation?
I don’t recommend it! It doesn’t hold the ink in the same way.

That one should be on 2/3/24! Next week is draining the printer and then the new ICC should be after that. Hopefully I can help! :)
What happens if the temperature is too low? My press only goes up to 360, is that why the colors look faded?

Are you using a polyester blank shirt?
@@HeyLetsMakeStuff it’s 65% polyester

Sorry to hear that! Try using butcher paper instead of parchment paper. And what heat press are you using?
your links are not working i am getting 404

What do you do when the ink pad issue pops up? 😔
You can replace the waste tank with one from Amazon!
Looking to find this Pro Spray 2 heat resistant adhesive but can't find it anywhere on line. Does anyone have a link please. TIA.

Unfortunately the shipping to Canada is $80 US. I don't suppose there is another possibility? Thank you for your prompt reply.

What program are you using to print?
@@HeyLetsMakeStuff Good morning! I print from Preview on Mac.
@@HeyLetsMakeStuff also worth noting…it only does it on large prints. Same image letter size is perfect…13x10 is when it does this.

They are coming out more like blue or brown
A lot of times brown means too much time/pressure. Your blacks will go a bit brown. Try to experiment with a bit less and see what happens.
