    Great video. Love your accesories. After having ditched the F750GS, and now the KTM 790ADV in my thoughts, and having decided on the Transalp, I'll be needing especially heated grips, skid plate to cover up the ugly bottom side, and crash bar(s). Fog lights and hand guards definately not urgent, but in time, surely. Maybe not OEM to save some money. I am also definately thinking of the phone holder bar that goes right above the TFT screen and looks great. And then I might add a apple carplay computer so I can keep my phone in my pocket and not risk it's camera disfunctioning. And oh yes, every video I watched to do with this bike, has been insisting that the owners get the quickshifter. They say it works sublime with this bike and makes riding so much more fun. So thinking about that as well. Subscribed!

      Thank you very much 😊 good choice! It’s a fantastic bike 😊 I am very happy with the bike and the optional extras I went for. I know they are expensive but definitely worth it. Can you get aftermarket fog lights to wire up to the function switch like the Honda ones? Definitely something worth looking into.
      I have thought about the phone holder above the screen but I fear it may get in the way of the camera when filming 😂 Plus when I need a navigation, it can come through the screen with the Honda Road Sync app.
      I did think about the quick shifter but at the time I didn’t see a need for it. Even now I’m not sure I would use it enough to make it worth the extra money, but it is tempting as everyone does say it’s worth it.
      Thank you very much for subscribing 👊 it’s a huge help 😊

      @@TyresNTorque I know I told you that I’ve decided towards the transalp but I have to see the KTM 790 is still on my mind. Even though the new ones are made in China with Austrian parts, test riders are saying that you can’t tell the difference and that it’s still worth buying. Plus it’s got an additional cornering ABS and cruise control. So now I’m back in that dilemma.

      Unfortunately, i’m not sure if it’s water proof or not. When it rains I have always unplugged whatever I am changing just in case it isn’t - so I can’t say for sure.
      Did you know there is a USB type C socket under the seat? I have seen others use this for changing a phone. If you have a lead long enough you could run it through to your hand bar to charge your phone. Im not sure if it is designed for this but it works.

    Few question if I may? Does it have a snatchy throttle as widely reported on the Hornet? Does it have enough low down torque? Is it fun to ride? Do you notice the 21" front wheel in terms of handling? Does the rear suspension feel adequate for normal road riding as some report it's a bit budget feeling. Thanks in advance.

    • @TyresNTorque
      @TyresNTorque  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello 👋 Of course…
      - No, the throttle does not seem snatchy to me. However it is more responsive in sport mode. I can happily ride through a town or through traffic at slower speeds and the bike feels smooth. However I wouldn’t leave the bike in sport mode for that, I would stick it in user or rain mode. The power delivery is a little more relaxed and smoother a slower speeds.
      - It does have enough low down torque for me but from what I have heard from others, not as much as the V Strom DE 800 low down. It is certainly an engine that likes to be revived a little more, than sit at low RPM. Having said that, I don’t rev my bike hard as there isn’t a huge need to. Personally I love the power and delivery. More than enough for me.
      - Yes, absolutely, it is defiantly a fun bike to ride. Nimble, light and plenty of power.
      - My last bike (a 650 Transalp) also had a 21 inch front wheel so no, I didn’t notice anything significant, other than the 750 being very nimble and light in comparison to my old bike and other adventure bikes I have ridden. The handling of this bike really is very good.
      - I don’t ride fast and most of my riding is on my own with no pillion and the suspension is more than adequate for me. I have made some small adjustments to preload to stiffen the bike up a little and this has really helped. The bike is more stable and has less suspension dive when braking ad less squat when accelerating.
      I hope this helps 😊 Have you test ridden one?

    I notice that the front indicators stay on solid all the time, untill they blink for indicating? do you think that maybe dangerous? BMW do similar also on the rear. An aftermarket solusion is avialable for BMW that leaves them on but as a white light, until used for indicating when they show orange/yellow.

      Hello 😊 Yes that is correct, they blink when indicating but they are otherwise always on when the ignition is on.
      If anything I think it makes the bike more visible and therefore safer, as there is a contrast of 2 different coloured lights at the front of the bike instead of just the headlight colour.
      Do you think this light set up is dangerous? H What is your current setup? 😊

    • @andymushlarky7819
      @andymushlarky7819 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I do think that they could be a distraction, people already don't look properly, a quick glance sees an amber light thinking that it's an indication, then pull out and we all know the result. I do think that the idea of them staying on is good, but they should be a white light. I'm not sure if there is an aftermarket solution as with BMW but If I had the Transalp I would be looking. I think they missed the opportunity to make this a better bike. Cruise control, tubeless tires, and an easier adjustment for the rear shock. Maybe a DCT option. But no. Personally I don’t feel the need for cruise control and don’t notice any downsides to having tubed tyres. But if all of the other competitors have gone tubeless, not sure why Honda haven’t. Possibly like you say, it puts it closer to the Africa.
      Im not sure if they will do a DCT option in the future but their is talk about an aftermarket Honda addition which can be put on modern bikes which is close to DCT but not the same. I can’t remember the name of it but it will hopefully be on the Honda website soon if it isn’t already.
