Bro this is totaly wrong. And yes the car was too dirty when I pickup the car on 15th of October and the funny thing is this is the same car 5779 which you got for your vizag trip on 18th. In 15th of october when we picked up the car we experience very bad about the car's accelaration and power .we felt that car has no power at all, the pickup was so bad and in higways I was scared to overtake a vichle . And than we understood that the car has some big issue but some how we manage to deliver the car at time after our trip .
It's very sad to see their customer service. They are giving cars without even checking it's feasibility. It was so hard to lift this heavy beast through Araku Valley and i was just lucky that the breakdown didn't happen at Araku. This service is ridiculous
In zoom car u have the checklist at the start and at the end about the car...I that checklist u should have mentioned the faults of the car...If u had mentioned then this guy would have not suffered...poor guy with 6m baby on board...
@Prabhat Mahata, I had once used Tata Hexa from Zoomcar from Bangalore. After getting the car only I came to know that the car had a speed governor. That was the reason of power lag during overtake.

My worst experience. Trip was from Guwahati to Shillong and back. My car broke down in fact we met an accident, how? Steering stopped working and tyres got locked, and we were in a curve atop hills, luckily the tyres were towards the dividers, just imagine the other case. Guess what the CC executive said? You should hv informed us exactly when your car broke, i was like how can u expect a human to pause the time and gv u a call. It took pace around 1pm. All formalities were same as he explained, at 6pm they said we will arrange a tow car, and it will head from ghy and reach my place in 8pm, meanwhile, i had to pay a challan of 3000 to the local police for nothing. We managed a tow car, it took a 7500 aprox which was initially promised by zoom car to be refunded, but all lies! They put an 10000 rs balance on my account and deducted 7500 and now says me to pay the rest amount. I met an maruti suzuki road side assistance van on that day, the said it will take hardly 2500 to repair the vehicle, just bcz it was a borrowed car i couldnt do that, now when i askd them to show me the bill of 10000 the says its against our policy! Overall 1. The cars they provide are the worst you can ever expect. Spend few extra bucks, you will reach back safe and alive. 2. Customer care service are worst ever one can ever imagine. You might be dead, but they will still figure how to extract money. 3. I met with accident due to the fault of their car, and in return i was blamed of not informing them. 4. They will provide you with a shitty piece of metal and you need to pamper this to bring it in same intact condition or you are sued! PS. Accident donot knocks your on arival, and your life is much worthy then few extra bucks! Book zoomcar at your own risk.
Actually brother, we put our lives on a toss when we take a car which is not well maintained. Travelling is no joke and they are providing us to travel all around India but are giving cars which are not even appropriate for city commute. Do share and i hope nobody was hurt in that event. Stay safe

I dont think this company will last long, cz too many disappointed customers can be seen in forums, and they are least bothered for improving their CC, rather they are starting ZAP subscribe, which again will fail for sure.
Guys, Am a regular customer of zoomcar. No car till broke down. And when you feel you been charged over by zoomcar. Call customer care and ask them. They will understand. They will return amount. Simple example is. Once some customer complaint(untidy) about car after my ride and i called zokmcar explain all that i personally cleaned car while dropping. Then they immediately removed the extra clean charge.
Exactly the same thing happened with us. We(8 students from IIT Roorkee) planned a trip to Tirthan (near Manali). We took a ZoomCar Scorpio from Chandigarh for 5 days. The car was in a very poor state. We reached our destination without any problems. BUT, on our way back, in the morning we had to leave for Chandigarh and we find out that the rear right wheel is punctured. So, obviously, we started the process of replacing the tire with the Stepney(the spare wheel). In the process, we realized that the provided wrench for the car was not actually the wrench offered with a Scorpio car. In the middle of nowhere, in the times of monsoon, with the fear of landslides, we a group of college students out for fun, stood stranded at 1600 meters with our families worried. All along this time thinking of ZoomCar's pathetic services and mantainence. Somehow we managed to get local help and a spare wrench(which actually belonged to a Scorpio) from a passing by Scorpio. "Pheww! All set to go." Those were are expressions when we got the wrench. BUT WAIT!!! This was the start of how low a Car Rental company like ZOOMCAR could fall to. This is what happened after we got out the punctured wheel and started to place the spare wheel into the lugs. We couldn't comprehend the reasons for the fact that the stepney provided was actually a misfit and on multiple tries didn't go in. Only to realize that it was a stepney from some other car that ZoomCar had placed in our Scorpio. We were furious. Just like you called ZoomCar's customer service, we did it too and after a heated 20-25 minute talk, the executive understood our problem. She advised us to get the car towed and get a free 50 km through a taxi they'll send in for us to bring us back to Chandigarh(which was almost 270km from our location). Yes! to Zoomcar it was almost a joke. On top of the 12,000 rupees, we had already paid them at the time of booking of the car, they had the courage of asking the customer to pay more for the taxi services. ZoomCar do you think we are fools? We are college students and our budget for a trip is fixed. We didn't have the extra money for the taxi service. In the end, we decided to take the risk and got the punctured tire filled with air at frequent stops to reach Chandigarh slowly. They even charged us with the late fee amount.After this incident, I'll never recommend ZoomCar to anyone. This is coming from a person who has driven the ZoomCar services for quite a few times now.
Exact same thing happened with me too, we booked a BMW 3 series to drive from Bangalore to Tirupati, as my friend was planning to buy the 3 series so we thought lets rent one to experience it before buying... I get the car in the evening since we planned to drive early morning, i had parked the car in my parking, and then everyone arrives early morning.. but the car failed to start.. we call zoom car and there process was so lengthy and they send a mechanic.. no use they were asking me to replace the vehicle with scorpio, already we were almost 3.5 hrs late and I was super angry... Finally I have to take our xuv to drive... It was a pathetic experience... The bmw was very badly maintained, almost 1 lakh plus kms done.. anyways zoomcar refunded back the money.
Sad to hear this story, revv has very good customer service bulu bhai, I have had great experiences with revv, and also revv is very economical when compared to zoomcar
In my case they added a vehicle damage fees of 10,000, even though there was not even a single scratch added from my side. Luckily I had a video of the car taken at delivery time showing that the gap in bumper was there before the delivery . Only after following with them over emails for 2 days and uploading all the proofs they removed the charges! Indeed they harass the customers to extract all the money they can !
That's is only your.. fault dude their agent alywas recommend you to take clip of that particular car, if they not. Then it up to you..you can take that for your safe side...
shubham dude, Why do I ( a customer) has to prove he is innocent with video proof when the “photos uploaded by the zoomcar delivery and pickup guy should be enough” to deduce that there was no damage caused by me? Isn’t it their duty to first check and double check the things then confirm with me and then add any fine, instead of harassing me for 2-3 days for payment of fine and asking for video proof? Also if according to you before using any service I should have a camera recording, then answer me my brother do you carry a camera everywhere and record everything just to make sure if someone falsely accuses you then you will have proof? Also if We follow what you say, this only means that you have accepted that it is common for zoomcar to add false damage charges, so it’s “obvious for you” to make recording “
Just for a minor scratch on one side of the vehicle Zoomcar charged me 4800₹. Had I known I would have to give that much I would have gotten it fixed myself at a roadside shop. They just look for an excuse to screw the customer over. Ever since I have changed rental companies and am pretty happy with revv.. their customer service has been good till now. Their response is super quick.

Best answer to zoomcar all consumers can do. 1- Book a Zoomcar for ride in city and as usual it will not be accepted by customers by their poor policy. 2- Instantly click photos of that particular car which you booked and make the booking cancel immediately. 3- Book a Cab infront of zoomcar executive and story line the whole incident. 4- file a consumer complaint for physical and mental harassment in the consumer forum asking to compensate you. Legal proceeding damages the Company market value in Share trading as well as credit rating in the money lending authorities. These kind of mass complaint will bring down the market credibility of a companies which results the higher interest rate by NBFC's and poor track record to company expensions.
Go to consumer court, now a days process is consumer friendly. First call consumer helpline register complain then send notice to Zoom car then file application in court.
@Hooda Plays no friend just call once consumer helpline, I hope u ll get some confidence. no company will want a case on his name also, multiple cases may lead to some other trouble for company, so they may became reasonable once you file complain over call and share complain number. Same I did for Ford and they considered my request.

Hii there.. i faced the same problem whn i booked a car in HYD. THE car which i booked i never got that car. In repleacement i got a 2011 honda civic. The car had same issues like u had. Same 2 same. Dirty no engine oil. Water sprinkler tank broken. So whn i called zoom car the sent a repesentative in my house he inspected and had a word and told the that the car is broken. So they towed away the car. Same day they gave me a replacement car from a totally different location that was 25 km away from my place. The next day i saw in my app that 12000 outstanding for vehical damages. Thn the story began... i call CS they transfered the call to there supervisor the guy told me that sir nothing to worry it wll be waived off. Sp whn i went back to return the car there fleet was telling me to pay 12000. Then they started to argue.. i told tne all the story they said we dont know u wl hav 2 pay .. and i was 2 adament not 2. Then 1 of the guy in the fleet told me keep the gold ring with us.. i told them i wont keep any thng u do what ever u lyk. Thaks 2 HYD police there was a station nearby the some officers were keeping a watch at our argument from there window. So they came forward and asked me all the details so i told them. I was shocked to hear there reply they said this is the 15th incident of the week which the came to know about.. the fleet dose not take care or dameges there own car and gives it to the customers who booked and then whn the car breaks down the company charges the customer and thn the money comes to the fleet for repairs. So they make false bills nad keep the excess money in there pockets. This is the story
I too wanted to hire a zoom car from Mumbai in the December end. After seeing this horrible video, Now I never take this kind of car. Complete torture by the company.
I have faced the exactly same issue with zoomcar. Our brakes failed on the highway since there was no break oil in the car. They arranged a cab for which I was charged for both sides and got no support from Zoomcar.
This was really pathetic! Zoomcar customer care is really bad. I have had a similar experience myself from Zoomcar. So good to see you making a video on this. At least now people can get to know about Zoomcar's pathetic service. Good Job bro!

Zoom car in Kolkata in absolutely hilarious. Every time I book, I avail pick up and drop off facility. Every time, the executive asks me to log fuel meter as 10% after trip completion cause they will take up the fuel cost in to their own pocket. Never ever book without fuel option in Kolkata. Strictly no no
It wouldn't have happened anywhere else. Companies in countries like the UK and US thrive on customer satisfaction. They will refund complete money instantly and give some voucher or something so you don't feel wronged and go sue their asses off
Been through worse . I booked a zoomcar for a week 3 days prior to Holi from the day of Holi and paid them 300 extra for delivery at 6am. With everything packed and all rooms booked , we were waiting for the car from 5:45am as we had received a confirmation mail and a SMS the previous night saying I'd have the vehicle by 6am. With bags packed we got ready by 5:30am and we kept waiting till 6:30 thinking that it might be traffic and called customer care for confirmation. They didn't answer. Kept calling till 8 am, gave up and then thought of calling them after 10am. Called again , no reply. Finally I decided to find out where the parking lot is and figured it out and called the caretaker. He said he hasn't got any confirmation from zoomcar as it was not a customer pick up. And the wait and desperation went on and I finally cancelled all my room reservations for 3 days as I'd already lost my patience and none of the bookings had refund as I got it on a highly discounted price according to MMT. Finally the call gets through at 7pm ie 13 hours later. And do note that they did not call me. And they say their server was down and sorry for the inconvenience and they can provide the car on the next day. I said I'd rather walk than count on them and asked for a full refund and then send them my cancelled room bills due to their fault. They were kind to say that there's nothing they can do about it and if I have a problem, I can move legally and that's it. Since going after the company wasn't worthwhile, I let it go and asked them to send me a refund asap. And that's when the next drama starts . Apparently I'll have their instant refund within 20 working days. And I got it by the end of the third week.... or let's say most of it except the 5000 security deposit and 300 delivery charges. 5000 of which came a week or two later after calling them. And had to call them again for the last 300 as i was adamant that I won't give them even a rupee by mistake. And that was the last between me and zoomcar. I'd never recommend this Ill mannered, irresponsible company to anyone. I was and am at a loss of 7500rs for the rooms I had to cancel due to their negligence.

The same thing happened with me and hathway. I had a connection of hathway which was prepaid. I didn't recharge the connection as I was out of the town. So the services stopped and I had a bad experience regarding the connection and so I decided not to recharge. They started making 3 to 4 calls a week insisting me to recharge. At first I denied politely and then I got fed up so I blocked those numbers. Fast forward to six months they called again and now claiming that I had some outstanding balance of RS 500 or something. How can I have an outstanding balance if my account was prepaid? I asked them Everytime they called they didn't give me any answers. Fast forward to 3 months. They issue a legal notice on me in the consumer Court. I really didn't had time to battle any more so I paid the amount and I thought that the matter is now closed but no they still call me and insist on me to reactivate the account and the poor guy/girl(call center operator) who has no idea what happened has to bear my anger......! I'd like file a case against hathway but I really don't have such time and money.....! The most I can do is spread this message and tell my people not yo yo for hathway.....!
Sue them at consumer forum. The process is really simple, even approaching a lawyer is not required. You can argue the case yourself. Make sure that you teach them a lesson, you have all the required documents.

File a case in Consumer Court ....inke laga bhai achhe se.. Hume bewakoof samajhte hain ye Zoomcar vaale. Inka bharosa nahi hai apni cars ki emi bhi humse bharne ko kehsakte hain

Regulatory mechanisms should be more stringent, and I also request You to carry froward this complaint to consumer forum so that authorities can take care of such false business promises.

Once he verifies the car condition, only then we can leave the car there(This is happening only with cite vehicles but not street vehicles i.e., the Zoomcrar executive will inspect and mark everything as fine. Then no charge will be fined and the customer could be happier and a 100% satisfied customer). And he(The Zoomcar executive) could be the witness for the truth. I too have the experience. I have drives and dropped and closed all the formalities but after 30 min the send my vehicle damage of 4000 that damage was not made by me eventhoe they doing this..... I too didn't pay it for 5 months let's see how far the zoomcar car can steel from us... Don't book a car...

Same incident happend to me in Guwahati just a day before holi on the route to shillong. Had pathetic experience with zoomcar. And i was harrased for three days. Even they sent their goons to us to get it resolve. I escalated to consumer rights forum but nothing happend till date.
It happens with me too as I booked car for 70km. After evening I just used 65km only d next day they asked me to pay 2500 extra for excess km which is 280km. I have run. But I didn'ti used only 65km after contacting zoomcar they checked car location and confirmed that it's run on 65km bass Jaan ko Rahat mile bhai agli bar no zoomcar only owncarr🤭
Thats really disappointing boss! I have also been a customer of Zoom car in Banglore but here, you are very clear about your disappointment and brought to this video. I've faced this exact same issue with zoomcar. Got a ford ecosport for a day trip, after driving 200km, car started warning "low engine, Stop safely". No one came to our rescue for 3 hours, and we had to take the car to service centre ourselves and just when we reached the service centre got a call from zoomcar support. Initially zoomcar support asked us to drive back the car in the same condition from the place we were, which was around 250kms from pickup location. But service centre guy strictly asked us not to drive in that condition. Then we had the service centre guy directly speak to zoomcar support to explain the condition, post which zoomcar support agreed to fill up the engine oil and asked us to produce the service bill to get refund. If I had took their word for it and drove back in the same condition, probably we would've been in the same situation as yours. The most frustrating part was there was no way to directly contact their human support when we were in that situation. Their support number just had automated IVR which always said I'll get a callback shortly, but nothing happened for 2 hours. We had to escalate it on social media, post which we actually got a callback. That was our first time with zoomcar and that was our last too. Everytime any of my friends talk about zoomcar or any self driven car, I strongly object it and rather prefer taking personal car or use public transport
Yaa agreed but when it comes to road trips ,out of your home town . What other better options does one have . Public transportation is even worse ,and just spoil the mood of trip. Independent mode of travel along with privacy and convenience is what this self drive rental offers.

Dropped of my zoomcar yesterday, no shocker so far. Wanted to extend booking, but after seeing your video decided not to. Pick up- drop was in a remote place, local ppl were asking/ interfering what am i doing with the car. Unless they change/ improve their pick up and drop procedure, probably wont go for zoomcar
Hi I will explain you 100 kms funda... There is something called as 3rd party Road Side Assistance (RSA)... it’s basically a service purchased by paying some fees per car (like insurance) by the car owner from a 3rd party service provider... the cover includes break down assistance, minor repairs, tyre repairs, battery jump starts and also towing to nearest OEM workshop when the car is broken down... there are other inclusions in the RSA like car arrangement, return train / air fair, hotel stay etc. Usually the car arrangements are free within a specified limit, say 100 or 150 kms. This is why they said you that it’s free if within 100 kms... however, this is mistake of the call centre guy who is not trained enough to deal with this situation... because this 100 kms thing may be an internal agreement between Zoomcar and 3rd party RSA... so ideally even if it was 800 kms far away break down, Zoomcar is supposed to bear cost of 700 kms... manpower maturity and training is big issue many companies face and as a result, customers like you have to take the pain... unfortunately in India customer service is not that great compared to western countries...

Flipkart is an Indian brand with terrific track record of horrible treatment of customers, while Amazon has an amazing track record (no wonder Bezos is the richest guy on the planet). In Western countries, there are multiple customer service schemes as well.

Secondly, the reason why COD isn't available in many regions is because of state import laws, which have become very lenient now since GST. And yes, Flipkart is an Indian company. You can go and check as many reviews as you want anywhere and you'd find out that Amazon's service is far far better than Flipkart's in India. Challenge. Go ahead. Write "Flipkart or Amazon" on Google.

Even once i got stuck in same situation It was even more worse We took a car from zoom car and we went to chickmangalur. We were on hills in night and there was no light on hill and the car clutch plate got burned It was totally unsafe there on hills we might would have met an accident. Some how we manged to spend the night Tommorow morning there was a toying vehicle along with a another vehicle to drop us back. Zoom car asked us for money for that car which dropped us. I also put a complain a consumer forum. Then their legal team contacted us and some how it got managed The whole trip was total mess It was my worst trip ever I would never recommend anybody to take zoom car for long drive Maximum of their cars have worse condition clutch plate

My worst experience.
Trip was from Guwahati to Shillong and back. My car broke down in fact we met an accident, how? Steering stopped working and tyres got locked, and we were in a curve atop hills, luckily the tyres were towards the dividers, just imagine the other case.
Guess what the CC executive said? You should hv informed us exactly when your car broke, i was like how can u expect a human to pause the time and gv u a call.
It took pace around 1pm.
All formalities were same as he explained, at 6pm they said we will arrange a tow car, and it will head from ghy and reach my place in 8pm, meanwhile, i had to pay a challan of 3000 to the local police for nothing. We managed a tow car, it took a 7500 aprox which was initially promised by zoom car to be refunded, but all lies! They put an 10000 rs balance on my account and deducted 7500 and now says me to pay the rest amount.
I met an maruti suzuki road side assistance van on that day, the said it will take hardly 2500 to repair the vehicle, just bcz it was a borrowed car i couldnt do that, now when i askd them to show me the bill of 10000 the says its against our policy!
Overall
1. The cars they provide are the worst you can ever expect. Spend few extra bucks, you will reach back safe and alive.
2. Customer care service are worst ever one can ever imagine. You might be dead, but they will still figure how to extract money.
3. I met with accident due to the fault of their car, and in return i was blamed of not informing them.
4. They will provide you with a shitty piece of metal and you need to pamper this to bring it in same intact condition or you are sued!
PS. Accident donot knocks your on arival, and your life is much worthy then few extra bucks!
Book zoomcar at your own risk.
Actually brother, we put our lives on a toss when we take a car which is not well maintained. Travelling is no joke and they are providing us to travel all around India but are giving cars which are not even appropriate for city commute. Do share and i hope nobody was hurt in that event. Stay safe

I've had a very similar experience and going to consumer court helped and I got most of my money back

Am a regular customer of zoomcar.
No car till broke down.
And when you feel you been charged over by zoomcar.
Call customer care and ask them.
They will understand.
They will return amount.
Simple example is.
Once some customer complaint(untidy) about car after my ride and i called zokmcar explain all that i personally cleaned car while dropping.
Then they immediately removed the extra clean charge.
They wont, they charged me for a completely worn out tyre, 6k for tyre damage. Had to fight this one out in consumer forum

Exactly the same thing happened with us. We(8 students from IIT Roorkee) planned a trip to Tirthan (near Manali). We took a ZoomCar Scorpio from Chandigarh for 5 days. The car was in a very poor state. We reached our destination without any problems. BUT, on our way back, in the morning we had to leave for Chandigarh and we find out that the rear right wheel is punctured. So, obviously, we started the process of replacing the tire with the Stepney(the spare wheel). In the process, we realized that the provided wrench for the car was not actually the wrench offered with a Scorpio car. In the middle of nowhere, in the times of monsoon, with the fear of landslides, we a group of college students out for fun, stood stranded at 1600 meters with our families worried. All along this time thinking of ZoomCar's pathetic services and mantainence. Somehow we managed to get local help and a spare wrench(which actually belonged to a Scorpio) from a passing by Scorpio. "Pheww! All set to go." Those were are expressions when we got the wrench. BUT WAIT!!! This was the start of how low a Car Rental company like ZOOMCAR could fall to. This is what happened after we got out the punctured wheel and started to place the spare wheel into the lugs. We couldn't comprehend the reasons for the fact that the stepney provided was actually a misfit and on multiple tries didn't go in. Only to realize that it was a stepney from some other car that ZoomCar had placed in our Scorpio. We were furious. Just like you called ZoomCar's customer service, we did it too and after a heated 20-25 minute talk, the executive understood our problem. She advised us to get the car towed and get a free 50 km through a taxi they'll send in for us to bring us back to Chandigarh(which was almost 270km from our location). Yes! to Zoomcar it was almost a joke. On top of the 12,000 rupees, we had already paid them at the time of booking of the car, they had the courage of asking the customer to pay more for the taxi services. ZoomCar do you think we are fools? We are college students and our budget for a trip is fixed. We didn't have the extra money for the taxi service. In the end, we decided to take the risk and got the punctured tire filled with air at frequent stops to reach Chandigarh slowly. They even charged us with the late fee amount.After this incident, I'll never recommend ZoomCar to anyone. This is coming from a person who has driven the ZoomCar services for quite a few times now.

Exact same thing happened with me too, we booked a BMW 3 series to drive from Bangalore to Tirupati, as my friend was planning to buy the 3 series so we thought lets rent one to experience it before buying... I get the car in the evening since we planned to drive early morning, i had parked the car in my parking, and then everyone arrives early morning.. but the car failed to start.. we call zoom car and there process was so lengthy and they send a mechanic.. no use they were asking me to replace the vehicle with scorpio, already we were almost 3.5 hrs late and I was super angry... Finally I have to take our xuv to drive... It was a pathetic experience... The bmw was very badly maintained, almost 1 lakh plus kms done.. anyways zoomcar refunded back the money.

In my case they added a vehicle damage fees of 10,000, even though there was not even a single scratch added from my side. Luckily I had a video of the car taken at delivery time showing that the gap in bumper was there before the delivery . Only after following with them over emails for 2 days and uploading all the proofs they removed the charges!

That's is only your.. fault dude their agent alywas recommend you to take clip of that particular car, if they not. Then it up to you..you can take that for your safe side...
shubham dude, Why do I ( a customer) has to prove he is innocent with video proof when the “photos uploaded by the zoomcar delivery and pickup guy should be enough” to deduce that there was no damage caused by me?
Isn’t it their duty to first check and double check the things then confirm with me and then add any fine, instead of harassing me for 2-3 days for payment of fine and asking for video proof?
Also if according to you before using any service I should have a camera recording, then answer me my brother do you carry a camera everywhere and record everything just to make sure if someone falsely accuses you then you will have proof?

Just for a minor scratch on one side of the vehicle Zoomcar charged me 4800₹. Had I known I would have to give that much I would have gotten it fixed myself at a roadside shop. They just look for an excuse to screw the customer over. Ever since I have changed rental companies and am pretty happy with revv.. their customer service has been good till now. Their response is super quick.

Best answer to zoomcar all consumers can do.
1- Book a Zoomcar for ride in city and as usual it will not be accepted by customers by their poor policy.
2- Instantly click photos of that particular car which you booked and make the booking cancel immediately.
3- Book a Cab infront of zoomcar executive and story line the whole incident.
4- file a consumer complaint for physical and mental harassment in the consumer forum asking to compensate you.
Legal proceeding damages the Company market value in Share trading as well as credit rating in the money lending authorities. These kind of mass complaint will bring down the market credibility of a companies which results the higher interest rate by NBFC's and poor track record to company expensions.

Go to consumer court, now a days process is consumer friendly. First call consumer helpline register complain then send notice to Zoom car then file application in court.
@Hooda Plays no friend just call once consumer helpline, I hope u ll get some confidence. no company will want a case on his name also, multiple cases may lead to some other trouble for company, so they may became reasonable once you file complain over call and share complain number. Same I did for Ford and they considered my request.

Hii there.. i faced the same problem whn i booked a car in HYD. THE car which i booked i never got that car. In repleacement i got a 2011 honda civic. The car had same issues like u had. Same 2 same. Dirty no engine oil. Water sprinkler tank broken. So whn i called zoom car the sent a repesentative in my house he inspected and had a word and told the that the car is broken. So they towed away the car. Same day they gave me a replacement car from a totally different location that was 25 km away from my place. The next day i saw in my app that 12000 outstanding for vehical damages. Thn the story began... i call CS they transfered the call to there supervisor the guy told me that sir nothing to worry it wll be waived off. Sp whn i went back to return the car there fleet was telling me to pay 12000. Then they started to argue.. i told tne all the story they said we dont know u wl hav 2 pay .. and i was 2 adament not 2. Then 1 of the guy in the fleet told me keep the gold ring with us.. i told them i wont keep any thng u do what ever u lyk. Thaks 2 HYD police there was a station nearby the some officers were keeping a watch at our argument from there window. So they came forward and asked me all the details so i told them. I was shocked to hear there reply they said this is the 15th incident of the week which the came to know about.. the fleet dose not take care or dameges there own car and gives it to the customers who booked and then whn the car breaks down the company charges the customer and thn the money comes to the fleet for repairs. So they make false bills nad keep the excess money in there pockets. This is the story

I have faced the exactly same issue with zoomcar. Our brakes failed on the highway since there was no break oil in the car. They arranged a cab for which I was charged for both sides and got no support from Zoomcar.

Every time, the executive asks me to log fuel meter as 10% after trip completion cause they will take up the fuel cost in to their own pocket. Never ever book without fuel option in Kolkata. Been through worse . I booked a zoomcar for a week 3 days prior to Holi from the day of Holi and paid them 300 extra for delivery at 6am. With everything packed and all rooms booked , we were waiting for the car from 5:45am as we had received a confirmation mail and a SMS the previous night saying I'd have the vehicle by 6am.
With bags packed we got ready by 5:30am and we kept waiting till 6:30 thinking that it might be traffic and called customer care for confirmation. They didn't answer. Kept calling till 8 am, gave up and then thought of calling them after 10am. Called again , no reply. Finally I decided to find out where the parking lot is and figured it out and called the caretaker. He said he hasn't got any confirmation from zoomcar as it was not a customer pick up. And the wait and desperation went on and I finally cancelled all my room reservations for 3 days as I'd already lost my patience and none of the bookings had refund as I got it on a highly discounted price according to MMT. Finally the call gets through at 7pm ie 13 hours later. And do note that they did not call me. And they say their server was down and sorry for the inconvenience and they can provide the car on the next day. I said I'd rather walk than count on them and asked for a full refund and then send them my cancelled room bills due to their fault. They were kind to say that there's nothing they can do about it and if I have a problem, I can move legally and that's it.
Since going after the company wasn't worthwhile, I let it go and asked them to send me a refund asap. And that's when the next drama starts . Apparently I'll have their instant refund within 20 working days. And I got it by the end of the third week.... or let's say most of it except the 5000 security deposit and 300 delivery charges. 5000 of which came a week or two later after calling them. And had to call them again for the last 300 as i was adamant that I won't give them even a rupee by mistake.
And that was the last between me and zoomcar. I'd never recommend this Ill mannered, irresponsible company to anyone. I was and am at a loss of 7500rs for the rooms I had to cancel due to their negligence.

My 500 fuel bill refund is still in process. Zoomcar is worst
The same thing happened with me and hathway.
I had a connection of hathway which was prepaid.
I didn't recharge the connection as I was out of the town. So the services stopped and I had a bad experience regarding the connection and so I decided not to recharge.
They started making 3 to 4 calls a week insisting me to recharge.
At first I denied politely and then I got fed up so I blocked those numbers.
Fast forward to six months they called again and now claiming that I had some outstanding balance of RS 500 or something.
How can I have an outstanding balance if my account was prepaid?
I asked them Everytime they called they didn't give me any answers.
Fast forward to 3 months.
They issue a legal notice on me in the consumer Court.
I really didn't had time to battle any more so I paid the amount and I thought that the matter is now closed but no they still call me and insist on me to reactivate the account and the poor guy/girl(call center operator) who has no idea what happened has to bear my anger......!
I'd like file a case against hathway but I really don't have such time and money.....!
The most I can do is spread this message and tell my people not yo yo for hathway.....!

Sue them at consumer forum. The process is really simple, even approaching a lawyer is not required. You can argue the case yourself. Make sure that you teach them a lesson, you have all the required documents.

Yeah ... salute to you for your awareness. I too had a bad experience with Zoomcar and I would like to suggest the @Zoomcar to maintain a person at the time of pick up and drop off. Once he verifies the car condition, only then we can leave the car there(This is happening only with cite vehicles but not street vehicles i.e., the Zoomcrar executive will inspect and mark everything as fine. Then no charge will be fined and the customer could be happier and a 100% satisfied customer). And he(The Zoomcar executive) could be the witness for the truth. Let's raise a wall against such Frauds and Scams. And thanks for taking a step against this. You have our support brother @Be My Pillion. And the way you explained is a way too decent and clear. I too have the experience. I have drives and dropped and closed all the formalities but after 30 min the send my vehicle damage of 4000 that damage was not made by me eventhoe they doing this..... I too didn't pay it for 5 months let's see how far the zoomcar car can steel from us... Don't book a car...

It happens with me too as I booked car for 70km. After evening I just used 65km only d next day they asked me to pay 2500 extra for excess km which is 280km. I have run. try avis next time ..they only charge fr car...fuel charge is urs(full tank to full) and far better service then zoom car

I've faced this exact same issue with zoomcar. Got a ford ecosport for a day trip, after driving 200km, car started warning "low engine, Stop safely". No one came to our rescue for 3 hours, and we had to take the car to service centre ourselves and just when we reached the service centre got a call from zoomcar support. Initially zoomcar support asked us to drive back the car in the same condition from the place we were, which was around 250kms from pickup location. But service centre guy strictly asked us not to drive in that condition. Then we had the service centre guy directly speak to zoomcar support to explain the condition, post which zoomcar support agreed to fill up the engine oil and asked us to produce the service bill to get refund. If I had took their word for it and drove back in the same condition, probably we would've been in the same situation as yours. The most frustrating part was there was no way to directly contact their human support when we were in that situation. Their support number just had automated IVR which always said I'll get a callback shortly, but nothing happened for 2 hours. We had to escalate it on social media, post which we actually got a callback. That was our first time with zoomcar and that was our last too. Everytime any of my friends talk about zoomcar or any self driven car, I strongly object it and rather prefer taking personal car or use public transport

Yaa agreed but when it comes to road trips ,out of your home town . What other better options does one have . Public transportation is even worse ,and just spoil the mood of trip. Independent mode of travel along with privacy and convenience is what this self drive rental offers.

Yaa but they introduced self drive concept in India, all self drive rental work the same way , they try to mint as much money possible even for a hair like scratch . Desi rentals are even worse in this case .

It's zoomcar's standard practice now. I have rarely got a clean car.
I hope you are getting some legal action against Zoom Car and this illegal practice from ZC should be banned and stopped immediately. Rest is all in our hand that never ever book cars from ZC and boycott this company. They cannot survive if everyone just rejects their offers. Wish you all the best.

Dropped of my zoomcar yesterday, no shocker so far. Wanted to extend booking, but after seeing your video decided not to.
Pick up- drop was in a remote place, local ppl were asking/ interfering what am i doing with the car.
Unless they change/ improve their pick up and drop procedure, probably wont go for zoomcar
Hi I will explain you 100 kms funda... There is something called as 3rd party Road Side Assistance (RSA)... it’s basically a service purchased by paying some fees per car (like insurance) by the car owner from a 3rd party service provider... the cover includes break down assistance, minor repairs, tyre repairs, battery jump starts and also towing to nearest OEM workshop when the car is broken down... there are other inclusions in the RSA like car arrangement, return train / air fair, hotel stay etc. Usually the car arrangements are free within a specified limit, say 100 or 150 kms. This is why they said you that it’s free if within 100 kms... however, this is mistake of the call centre guy who is not trained enough to deal with this situation... because this 100 kms thing may be an internal agreement between Zoomcar and 3rd party RSA... so ideally even if it was 800 kms far away break down, Zoomcar is supposed to bear cost of 700 kms... manpower maturity and training is big issue many companies face and as a result, customers like you have to take the pain... unfortunately in India customer service is not that great compared to western countries...

Flipkart is an Indian brand with terrific track record of horrible treatment of customers, while Amazon has an amazing track record (no wonder Bezos is the richest guy on the planet). In Western countries, there are multiple customer service schemes as well.
@Smit Manore Do YOUR research. Amazon accepts returns, first of all. Secondly, the reason why COD isn't available in many regions is because of state import laws, which have become very lenient now since GST. And yes, Flipkart is an Indian company. You can go and check as many reviews as you want anywhere and you'd find out that Amazon's service is far far better than Flipkart's in India. Challenge. Go ahead. Write "Flipkart or Amazon" on Google.
@Smit Manore I have no clue what your source is. Personally, I have used these eCommerce websites for a long time and it's absolutely clear from my personal experience that Amazon has way better after sales service.

Tq broo I thought to book a zoom car for my long trip before watching this video but now I decided not to book it once again tnks alot for giving us a great information about it....

It was even more worse
We took a car from zoom car and we went to chickmangalur. We were on hills in night and there was no light on hill and the car clutch plate got burned
It was totally unsafe there on hills we might would have met an accident.
Some how we manged to spend the night
Tommorow morning there was a toying vehicle along with a another vehicle to drop us back.
Zoom car asked us for money for that car which dropped us. I also put a complain a consumer forum. Then their legal team contacted us and some how it got managed
The whole trip was total mess
It was my worst trip ever
I would never recommend anybody to take zoom car for long drive
Maximum of their cars have worse condition clutch plate
This is fraud, just go to the consumer court.
I used ZoomCar twice for local trip. Luckily no issues happened. Thank you friend. I am Uninstalling ZoomCar app from my mobile.
