If you are asking about Pentatonix's arrangement process, here is a link to a fan-created compilation of excerpts from their early tour vlogs where they are working on arrangements. th-cam.com/video/XbxPnbC9vnk/w-d-xo.html They usually decide some things in advance, like who is doing the lead in each section, then Kevin and Avi / Matt come up with a basic beat and bass part. Then the group improvises together until they have something they like. They then send it to their "6th member", producer Ben Bram who makes some suggestions then creates sheet music. There is also a video documentary showing them recording their Evergreen Christmas album; search "Pentatonix - The Recording of Evergreen"
Lol. Maybe Pentatonix does mash up songs... *Evolution of Music *Evolution of Michael Jackson *Daft Punk *Evolution of Beyonce *90s Dance Medley *Dynamite x Butter *Evolution of Arianna *The Wizard of Aahs *Pure Imagination/Christmas Time is Here *And no, that's not all on the list. Enjoy exploring! BTW, they created the a capella mashup. You might want to explore their original mashups from 2011 on The Sing Off, the competition that brought them to the attention of America.
I don't think I heard this song before hearing the PTX version. And it is a catchy song, as you say, and kind of surprising that it isn't more widely heard.
I'm pretty sure PTX serves the song...who is best suited to what vocal piece. I REALLY doubt the draw names from a hat kind of thing to determine who gets what part... LOL!!! It'd be really funny if Matt got the female part or worse, Mitch's ...and Kirstie gets to be beatboxer!

Recommend their video, “Pentatonix - The Recording Of Evergreen”. However, due to spoilers, please react to The Prayer first.
Awesome Reaction Guys --
Thai song was everywhere when it first came out. I definitely prefer PTX’s version.

They could call it "Songs From A Hat"🤣🎩
I would love to see them do that as a fun video though. Lol
Should I press the "see more" button suddenly? It might trigger a stage song break out.
