Thanks! I can give you advice for setting up honey tree hunts. First you pop honey on each tree and immediately make sure the honey is still on it when you literally just did it. If it immediately says the original message "there is a sweet scent in the air" then it means that the honey you used failed to generate an encounter. Just repeat until the tree says "the bark is slathered with honey" and wait a bit over six hours before checking your trees. Save before checking and when you eventually find your target encounter, reboot game and save in front of that same tree. To prevent the Pokémon from despawning, you can boot up the game on another DS to hunt. Two days later, the journal will appear each time you load the game, which will make the resets slower, so just simply save again and move the game to another DS to continue hunting. If you don't have an extra DS to do this with, just simply change the clock slightly after you saved. That will also activate the time lock thing to prevent time from advancing in the game when it's not open. Good luck! More honey tree info here: www.dragonflycave.com/sinnoh/honey-trees
I’ve wanted to try for a shiny headbutt tree Pokémon but so far I’m still trying for a gen 4 Masuda method chikorita. I got shiny Cyndaquill in 213 eggs so I guess I hopped my early egg luck would stay strong. 😅 at least safari week is coming up so that will be a nice change of pace. 👍
Even at Gen 4 Masuda method odds, a shiny hatch in just 213 eggs is really quick. Congrats on the Cyndaquil and hopefully Chikorita won't take you too much longer. Also, you don't headbutt the trees in Sinnoh, only in HGSS. Good luck in Safari Week! I'm planning to do Hippopotas, Trapinch and Vibrava. :)
@@LuckySparkles cool!! I’m doing vibrava too!! 😁 also trying for Lapras and any of the nidoran family. (Only one of my games has the blocks required for vibrava to appear in the desert area. And yes, it wasn’t until after I commented that I realized you were using honey trees. 😅
Yoooo congrats that looks so clean I gotta hunt that one day it looks so clean congrats!!!
Thanks and I completely agree. Shiny Heracross is one of the nicest shinies in Gen 4. :)
I'm late but congrats! I wish you showed a bit of how the process works though.
