Alex deserves a lifetime achievement award for the drums on this, he could’ve easily made it a typical metal song but instead he created an incredible masterpiece. Catastrophist and Like A Sword Over Damocles also stand out big for me
It's what makes them so awesome. They've managed to be a really accessible metal band for those getting into the genre whilst staying true to both the genre and who they are as musicians. Great band.
This is my favorite track off the album, and I honestly like the live version more. I'm so greatful you were able to upload it on YT in such good quality.
not really in good quality tbh since i originally record it in 360p by mistake and now rely on editor that use to remaster the others Trivium MV hahah and it kinda works well and anyway thanks~
The whole song is mighty happening but the bass frequency on it's 10/10🤘 What a curse and sweet pain pounding over us cuz Paolo's delivers another lesson of violence with Alex Bent killing it💥🤘
Dude you are great! Been searching for some videos of this stream everywhere and I just quit looking a few months ago. Now I discovered this by accident lol, thanks a lot! Do you have The Shadow of the Abattoir by chance? Love that song!
My internet is not blazing fast so yeah it being uploaded right now. The reason why it's slow is because of size of it(upscale and AI help to Hd the vid) and youtube itself haha so it's will probably ready to watch in next few hours or probably next 12 hours haha
Feel like vocals should have been just a tad louder in the mix Edit: nevermind that would've been tricky as it's just the screams which are a bit quiet
You knew this was gonna be a heavy track when the opening drums🥁 were almost identical to the 'Death - Sound of Perseverance' album th-cam.com/video/XjB101k2Bog/w-d-xo.html 🎶 Scavenger of Human Sorrow 🎶
The screams he does in the streams are only for practice, i bet Matt knows they don´t sound that great. I don´t know what he does different in shows but he sure does something. I´m not that familiar with vocal techniques :D
Streams scream is just same as his live techniques(2015 - now) but i kinda do wish he utilizing low growls more than everything being mid-high screams. Let's just hope the next albun in couple years he's not only using 1 types of screaming/growls.
Matt’s singing is definitely the best it’s ever been. And I agree that the screaming is not as brutal as it used to be. But I understand why he is using the new method he’s using. As much as I prefer the screaming from the old days it was taking a huge toll on his vocals which also cost him his clean vocals. Overall I think the screaming is…serviceable, just not like the glory days.
Low key the most underrated song on this album.
Lowkey best song they’ve ever made
@@theroguegrunt6439 nah
That guitar break is fucking legendary
@@coomingnotgoing904impossible to not headbang to that section. Brilliant.

This song and shadow of the abbatoir brought me to tears man. so glad this band has been with us this long
I love how they are able to go completely mental with their riffs and drop downs, all while keeping a consistent melody at the core

F* I get chills every time I hear that drum intro
Damn, do I want a Alex playthrough video of this song. He's just going insane on the kit!
Welp, it looks like your wish has been granted.
Corey's solo on this one is fkn amazing! One of my favorites
They are so good

@@xanniieeyy oh that's okay. I was referring to the sound quality, sometimes these uploads can sound crap.
P.s this one cut the orchestral outro part way too early and switch to Amongst right after that.
Damn i was waiting for someone upload this
Thank you very much
Love how alex playing on drums
It very incredible . They embody the notion of diversity in their songs

This is one of the best drumming intros ever, the flourish with the ride and rolling over the tombs is absolute top notch
Epic in every way🤘🏻🔥
2:09 nice transition! 🙂
Perfection.
Many bands in one. 😍😍
Thanks for posting! :)
Thank you for this.🤘
❤❤❤❤❤
So good.✔️😇

@@xanniieeyy fuck yeah man! Don't worry about that, you recorded it, that's what matters haha. Thanks a lot!
my god, the screams sound like we just went back to the shogun days!
Hell no lol
They're low and weak.
@@nameless7797 Yeah, his safe technique is a bit weak. But it doesn’t kill his voice like the shogun screams
that's a stretch tho . way less aggressive and not even raspy.
Does anyone feel like the rythym section needed some more camera time?
Matt is a genius!

love paolos voice on that
Thank you very much for the video :D :D :D :D , but do you have the video of the two lives? In Waves 10 years...
Didn't record that one haha my bad.

🎶 Scavenger of Human Sorrow 🎶
WOW
Greatest song ever by Trivium
🤘❤🤘
I'm the only one that thinks that the principal riff sounds like Damage inc from Metallica?
Anyway, its so freakin insane. ♥️🤍
Here "the sweet note" doesn't sound as sweet, so it actually becomes a really solid track
Joon Cool
Is he doing something different for his screams here than he does in his livestreams?

That last note sang by Matt was 💋🤌
Shame here is the audio bit rate. Symbol hits betray the upload quality. 😢
Still love it though.
The director hates solos.
fr
instrumentals and clean singing is so damn good, they need to get a new screamer though, its so thin and weak
Matt can scream, he does it on records. Live he just take cares of his voice and uses a different technique
@@Feercholain i know. Imo it sounds weak/bad^^ it shouldnt
Definitely disagree. His and Corey’s screams are very strong here
