I'm a f2p longbow in chaos 7 right now with 17mil overall power, no aurous equipment yet, started with the bottom left tree in archer. Definitely wouldn't say that the right side tree is best by any means. Look at all of the nodes and compare the overall stats you get from the left side to the right side, you'll get more useful stats on the left side. And just so you know, you'll have to take both paths before you can allocate the end node in any of these trees. The prerequisite nodes for the final node must both be level 5 in order to allocate the final node. I put out a video on this as well with a little more detail if you want to watch.
