@@RIVERSIDEREVIEWS Bro, you okay? Wake up! Huh? ...Coronavirus? ...Donald Trump? ...Ukraine? What are you talking about? You probably had too much Burger King, it's 1993! Now come on, we gotta get to Sears, we're gonna buy Mortal Kombat II and borrow your brother's Sega Genesis, it just came out!
Anyone else remember flipping this channel on to fall asleep at night when you were younger? Ever since I found these on TH-cam, Ive made a playlist and play on a loop at night to fall asleep. Thanks for posting!
Omg this takes me back so much. Between the years of 1989 and 1992 especially, I would just play this channel and watch it for sometimes hours actually. I was ages 4-7. Yeah I was weird. I didn't go out much but between this and the Weather Channel, they were my comfort a lot. Hell, now that I'm in my 30s, I often look for videos like this as well as old Weather Channel long broadcasts. I miss my childhood so much. These were also greater and simpler days. Even when they changed this format to the more vibrant one from like 1993-1998 I still watched, and a little after it became the "TV Guide Channel". Thank you for posting this.
@@RIVERSIDEREVIEWS Once again thank YOU for this. These are so rare because so many people in those days thought this was a lame channel and people would think you're lame for recording this at all but there are people like me now 30 years later who would do anything to get a nice 6-8 hour longplay of this from the era between 1989 and 1992. I'll take what I can get and this means so much to me. I feel my childhood I didn't appreciate and I wasted badly when I see awesome things like this.
There’s this one interlude jingle that would play when the text was showing around 93-95. It only lasted about 20 seconds or so but it’s burned in my brain to this day and I would love to hear it again. Unfortunately haven’t found it yet and maybe it was local to your cable operator at the time
@@trentbateman I miss my childhood so much. We should be grateful this footage even exists and someone had the foresight to actually record this, but man sometimes I tell myself if I could ever go back to anywhere between 1990 and 1993 and live in it again for awhile, I would. Such simpler days, ya know? Including the prevue channel. The Weather Channel was better then too. Not as many commercials and no reality shows about being an Alaskan Mountie or a Fisherman in the Atlantic.
I’m going to listen to his video as I fall asleep at night. It’s my safe place.
Bro wake up it’s 1993.
@@RIVERSIDEREVIEWS shit! Let me grab my shell toes and stussy shirt!

I never thought I would watch replays of the Preview channel for nostalgia. Imagine explaining that one to my younger self 30 years ago. LOL

I love these types of videos. It just captures an era. I used to do my homework to the Prevue Channel.
