Well i can atleast tell you this that there are 4 class/rank of Kaiju in this series. The smallest one/weakest was call Youju, it's a parasite type like the one invade Kafka body. Next was honju, well this one just the same as Youju but it has numbers it "born" after a Kaiju was defeated. Next was Kaiju, simple put the big one you saw on first episode. Then the Daikaiju, the Kaiju that got a number on them given by the SDF, because it alone can destroy one continent & need like 3/4 of a SDF corps. Just like Kafka. If this was not correct you can "help" me. It's been a while since i read the manga
Ur not correct about couple of things here. A "Yoju" is basically just the weakest class and is usually small, it doesn't necessarily need to be a parasite I don't remember anything about a "Souju", i think you mean "Honju", Honju's are usually the biggest and some what powerful kaijus with their fortitude being above 6.0 An example of Yoju's are literally the first ever kaiju that appeared in the anime, the one who attacked Kafka and Ichikawa while they're cleaning, and the small mushroom kaijus that came out of the Big Mushroom Kaiju which is a Honju class. u may not believe me cuz those kaiju's are "big to be a yoju", but it's true. There is no "Kaiju" class, it's their name as a whole, they are all Kaijus, just like how we are all "Humans" Being "Daikaiju" doesn't guarantee that they will be given a number, it's basically just powerful Kaijus with fortitude of atleast 8.0 "Identified Kaijus" are the ones that's is given numbers, they are the most powerful of them all, with their fortitude being atleast 9.0 but with some exceptions, like Kaiju no.9 only having 8.5 at the start Edit: if there's something not clear about all i've said let me know
