Hi, would you be able to produce a video on representation for Daily Mirror ( Component 1) and a general video on Life on Mars ( Component 2)? Thanks so much! Videos are awesome!

    hello,
What I was wondering because I am so confused with the specification.
So for each topic component one and two do we need to cover all media language, representation, industry and audience? Along with social cultural political historical and economic contexts. Because obviously you have select videos for each topic and I am getting confused. I noticed in your water aid video you explained that it could only be representation or audience. But having looked at an old mark scheme I noticed something about semiotics in wateraid. Is there any chance you could try to explain this concept please? I can’t wrap my head around it if not in a video in a reply - Thank you!

It is VERY confusing! A lot of the exam board resources mention media language aspects of texts like Wateraid etc despite them only being Representation or Audience questions. This is because you may need to refer to media language elements in a representation question AND because they’re using the set texts to to teach you media language to prepare you for the unseen text. The media language question for C1 will always be about an unseen text not one of your set texts. I’ve done videos therefore on the things that I think my students need the most help on but there isn’t a video for every possibility yet. Especially when it comes to C2 and essentially you can get asked ANY question on ANY of your C2 texts. I’m adding new videos all the time though.

Would you consider producing a video covering Media Industries and Audiences for Assassins Creed III: Liberations (video games) for component 1.
    Many Thanks :)
