GAUSS' THEOREM in Differential Form | DIVERGENCE OF ELECTRIC FIELD | in HINDI

- In this video of Physics in Hindi for B.Sc. we derived the differential form of Gauss' law in electrostatics. We found, divergence of electric field at any point is equal to the volume charge density of that point divided by the absolute permittivity of the free space. Divergence of electric field at any point is zero, if the charge density is zero there.

Sir Can you make video on
"Divergence of electric field due to point charge is zero everywhere except origin"
It's a kind of paradox.
Sir plz uploade more vdo on electrodynamics .....sr plz let us know which book should we refer
Dear edu point sir, IMO good video as well as too basic... Here is one thing that you as well as the other teachers/books these days very rarely address.
Consider a volume charge distribution. Every thing you said works pretty well if the point (under consideration) is outside the volume distribution.
But it is not axiomatic/evident that it will work inside the volume distribution. Several other things need to be addressed. For example, how can you guarantee that electric field exists at a point inside the volume distribution. The usual formula doesn't generally work as there will be an integrand discontinuity (singularity). Now by other means, you CAN show it exists. But even then how can you guarantee its first partial derivatives exist and that it is differentiable so that div E is meaningful. This CAN also be done. But I have not seen at least a little detailed discussion of these aspects anywhere in MODERN electromagnetic texts. Too many assumptions are there.
By the way, your derivations are very simple, and just like other physics teachers, they highly lack mathematical rigor. IMO convincing a group of skeptics is impossible with these kinds of lectures. In order to convincingly make the skeptics understand, they need to be taught real analysis and then need to be explained with mathematical rigor. Please note that a mathematician will highly cringe by seeing lectures like this.
Interesting point mentioned...But I don't think bsc students aspiring physics will need it ...Maths is a tool ... Mathematician are people who manufacture tools and physisits use it ...U can know the tool well by using it continuously ...If any mistakes happen while using these tools it will be highlighted in their phds or deeper studies ...Your comment for me sounds like it's a tutorial on how to use a pair of scissors and u are insisting the teacher to mention the very much finer details which are not worthy at this particular moment...I purposely pointed out, because his lecture series for mathematical physics appears very much intuitive for me,,,not to hcv .3b1b,woo or khan academy extent ...But it is toooo much user friendly....this is an excellent framed comment but not for this channel ...Hope u understand
@@kayrstar8965 thank you very much... a reply at last and that too a worthy one...(may I know whether you are a mathematician or at least some rigourous mathematical training. It seems so).
I am a physics bachelor student. Their teachings didn't convince me and I began searching for convincing proofs of the formulas used in physics. But no matter which mathematical physics texts, articles or videos I come across, there are always questions which they don't clear completely. Then I hopelessly tried to ask these questions to mathematicians and I couldn't understand their language. I studied propositional logic and real analysis (still studying). Then I succeeded in convincing myself to an extremely high level (everything is based on propositions, true, false, numbers and axioms). If you can, can you answer some of my questions on "usage of mathematics in physics"?
@@holygrandtheftautovi7516 @GTA V i am not a math nerd ,work as a recording artist and study physics as a hobby...K F Riley is an author who deals with the thirst that u are having which I have came across ...Your searching in the wrong platforms i would say ...Edu point is meant for intuition creation which one will develop.,and physics and maths level targeted to bsc levels...According to my opinion if you want to hear a piece of music which my brain has prompted ...I would search for it...But if I don't find it i will compose it.....On similar lines research works (i guess)...Telling you because u and I work on same lines ...To satisfy the curiosity....And I poked on your first comment ...Because here in india there are only a few youtubers who rely on intuition building as their content and Edupoint is one of them ...Mathematical Methods for Physics and Engineering by kf Riley is the only contribution i can make for u
@@kayrstar8965 If you want to know an person in INDIA who would teach every aspect of physics intuitively and mathematically I would be happy to tell you 2 channels on TH-cam as you are a lover of physics. 1)*Indian School of Physics* 2) Physics Sir JEE..please search for them and enjoy the beauty of physics...Its my word that you won't repent and regret searching from...plz do it
Sir i have question that if we consider the flow of water from a certain height.if we take a volume approaches to infinite in velocity field directed along y axis
Can this volume have divergence
Div.E = Net Flux/Volume. How?
Please explain this. (4:52-5:15)
Sir mujhe question puchna hai apse how to contact u bcz its numericals

Sir are you only graduate?Don't you know that it is not Gauss'theorem? Gauss'theorem is related to volume integral of div of a vector field. DrRahul Rohtak
That is gauss theorem of divergence mr dr😂😂
Divergence of a vector field ka jo video apne dekne ke liye bola, use to apne private kar diya he sir. Sir mujhe o video dekna he please sir private hata diji ye. 🙏🙏🙏please sir.

Fantastic sir
Hello SAIF ANSARI !
Thank you very much for supporting this channel.
Aap sab ki dua se hi ye channel hai.
Using differential form of gauss law derive Laplace equation and Poisson equation?
Isn't that just divergence of gradient of a scalar field? Since, electric potential is the scalar field, and E= -gradV, so just div(grad(V)) = -ρ/ε
That's poissons equation, and laplace's equation is just poissons eqn for when ρ=0
Sir what will happen if close surface is open??
it will become open surface
