Ok I loved the butterfly but OMG this is just AWESOME SAUCE!! Wow! I'm going to have to try this. I will say that when you painted it with the turquoise I thought that was really beautiful too. I have this really cool leaf ribbon and have to try it with those. So beautiful!! Definitely inspired by this one as well. Much love!
Gorgeous texture and the colors on the flowers are breathtaking! I really enjoyed watching your process. I gasped along with you when the ink ran out of the flower....lol... but you kept your cool and it all worked out in the end. I have a lot of those type moments when I create. LOL

As always my friend a great piece of art. Loved the missing footage, made me smile, and I loved the two colour choices for the glazing. That Pthalo turquoise gave such depth to the texture and patterns in the super heavy gesso. Your excitement was contagious, I was going ooh ooh ooh when the inks started to move but even more when you added that bright neon yellow. You inspire me to try new and different things every week. it looks like you found an old piece of wood that had numbers on it and added flowers to brighten it up. The technique was bold and a lot of fun. thank you
I actually thought you were going to leave the fluffy string the way it was..and the other ribbon you used for a steam...I love the texture you made out of the gesso. I love how this turned out!!

CeeCee, I like to use canvas panels because they are firm all over, not like a wrapped canvas but I am wanting to know if you have any interesting ways of hanging them on the wall? Thanks -Christi
I love love love your grunge flowers. I have that same fibre wool you used for the flowers I quite fancy giving this a go :) I don't have any heavy bodied gesso though or modelling paste any suggestions on alternatives so I can get the thickness of the base layer? Of course I may just go buy some thick bodied gesso, or maybe I will go to my local diy store and buy diy filler as its cheaper and easier to buy than modelling paste hmmmmm
Tania Barnes You could use modelling paste but I do prefer the extra heavy gesso because of its finish. It's a little more chalky-er than the paste. Thank you for you comment!
