  • Greetings all,
Welcome to Southport. Southport is situated on the Sefton coast and is easy to reach from all over the North West. Close to both Liverpool and Manchester, Southport is a great coastal town to escape the hustle and bustle of a big city for a day out, a short break or a 'staycation'!
Boasting a beautiful and expansive coastline, Southport is surrounded by natural beauty, making it a great place to escape. Whether it is building sandcastles on the beach with the kids, or eating fish and chips on the promenade watching the sun go down. Enjoy the tranquillity of the coast by wandering along the Pier or having fun in the arcades.
Enjoy the full rundown of the top things to do in the famous sea resort and town located right by the Irish Sea.
    Enjoy!

We went the other week, but only really saw the marine lake and pier. The town looks really lovely too. Thanks for showing us around. 🍻

Southport is beautiful but it is a town not a city.

Thanks for the feedback :) I always have trouble with the designation of British towns and cities.
