We all owe Sheila a big hug and a thank you. Even an apology for the boos she received early last season. But the genius of Brad Holmes and MCDC brought it all home.
I still disagree with this take. Sheila rightfully deserved some criticism because the team was still going nowhere or saw improvement which is something you want to see in year 2 of a rebuild. I still gave it time because Patrica was THAT bad, but I can see where a lot of the other frustrated fans were coming from.
@sosmooth13 and yet on there side of it now the only words said are the amazing speed of the rebuild. So I stand by my comment. She took the reigns in a complicated family hierarchy and made the first changes big changes in years. And we saw the corner change shortly after. So yes, she definitely is owed some praise. The boos were then deserved, but given the fast change of events, and even the very close losses early that season. She deserves some sort of acknowledgement
I'm hesitant to say a coach, and man do I love Dan Campbell. When you have people like Charles Barkley saying how much they'd have loved to play for him, you know they have something special.
Sheila Ford Hamp deserves a lot of credit for this Lions rebuild. She surrounded herself with the right people and went about this the right way. Unlike her parents, she understood what it would take to build a real football. It all starts with her. She brought in Spielman and Sanders to help with the HC and GM search and was able to get two guys who have built this team in their image.
The Lions Coaching staff is just unbelievably perfect for this team. As a lions fan my self, I hope we have a great 24-25 season and hopefully come out of the season with a title.
Tbh I would add 3 pieces the owner handed over the reigns from the son to the daughter Mrs Ford-Hamp she then hired Chris Speilman as a consultant who hired Dan then hired Brad the last piece is Brian Branch without him paired with the fas from this year in the defensive backfield we would still be last in defense and s/o Aaron Glen for bringing in Dre Bly
Since I'm a native of the region and my father was a forever Lions fan until he passed before I graduated primary school, I can you that the 3 key difference makers of the Detroit Lions is: 1. Coach Dan Campbell (he came back to a team he loved and felt he needed to prove to everyone exactly what he knew that no one else did. He has more heart than anyone in that franchise. He is beyond extraordinary b/c he built this team from the ground up... literally); 2. the new Rockies came in and made the team gel together so well (namely Gibbs, Hutchinson and Moseley) and Jared Goff (he looked inside himself and pulled out a man that was needed to lead this team and as a result, he got his own confidence restored, he has found where he fits and he magnificent). Let's go LIONS🦁💙 LETS GOOOO🔥🔥🔥
No credit to brad holmes who picked these players? U said moseley when u mentioned rookies he was a free agent and only played a couple snaps all season before he tore his other acl i think u mean branch. U also included hutch hes in his second season shud have added Laporta into those rookies listed instead.
I have to give Shelia a lot of credit here. She fired the bad people and hired the right ones, and the took a step back and said: "Ok what do you guys need? Im here to help you succeed." More owners could learn from this approach.
The trade was actually- Stafford for multiple high draft picks and McVay threw in Goff. Mcvay needs to be thanked by all Lions fans as he built the lions foundation. Mcvay has ensured that the lions will be a force for the next decade. Mcvay was so unselfish as that 2022 team was built were Goff would of won that Superbowl as well. Thank You McVay
Couple things, 1. Stafford was being tampered with by mcvay. 2. Rams didn't want detroit to throw the tampering flag out, so they threw in goff and a #1. Personally I think another draft pick woulda been nice, since 1 of the #1s was about eating goffs salary. As it is, we are on the verge of history for the detroit lions. That's the halas trophy( nfc champion). We get that and it's on to the superbowl and the lombardi trophy( nfl champion). No ez task given its sf and winner of the afc( Lamar hunt trophy). More ghosts, more demons to exorcise.
Jamo might be one of Brads and Dans only big miss because of the capital they spent to get him. Theirs still hope there though as Jamo seems like he takes it seriously now, dude is a menace as a blocker and you can tell really loves the game. I worry about him and Goff not being a good mesh though which is more on Goffs not being great deep but maybe when they get a normal year together next year they can figure it out finally.
Pro Football Reference, approximate value, is an absolute garbage # Love PFR for all stats but that it. PFF has its issues too but it does a way better job telling me who's elite/shitty at football.
Who deserves the most credit for this Lions rebuild?
Idk good question
many many people
Brad Holmes deserves a Lion’s share of credit (pun intended)
He brought in Dan Campbell and has drafted tremendously well during his time in Detroit
Sheila ford
MCDC(HC) 😊 💙🦁🏆🦁💙 HE DID IT ON THE SIDELINES.
Hard Knocks showed how much a players coach Dan Campbell is. Let's Go Lions.

The Lions are the Chicago Cubs of the NFL---an underdog that everyone can respect and admire. As a Bears fan, I want the Lions to beat the 49ers
And from what Ive seen, theyre saying the Chiefs have become the Astros. Funny how all these parallels work
Lions fan here, thanks for the love❤
And the Yankees are the cowboys
Except for Vikings fans, for some reason
I'm hesitant to say a coach, and man do I love Dan Campbell. When you have people like Charles Barkley saying how much they'd have loved to play for him, you know they have something special.
Dan Campbell is just so damn likeable. Let's go Lions!
❤ the Owner. She Fired the coach 😮 and began to rebuild from the Top.😊 GO LIONS😊
The most responsible person, is the one person you didn’t mention.
SHEILA FORD HAMP!

The rebuild ain’t even over yet. We still have plenty of draft picks and development left for our boys.
Jared Goff is a top 10 QB in the nfl

Todd helton?
C’mon you Lions! Haven’t slept since Friday night. Let’s do this!

The Lions are going to stay in the Superbowl conversation for awhile
Sheila is for hiring Brad and letting him cook!! Go Lions!!!

U forgot key players alex anazlone kerby Jack Campbell & Brian branch all MAJORRR KEYS to our team
With our doubt Brad Holms and Dan Campbell, none of this is possible without the both of them.
MCDC! 🦁
Brian branch?
One of the best picks- he is a force. He will be hitting Deebo and CMC hard
pars guy here but love these lions..i hope they smash the 49ers
MCDC( HC)😊
Wrong we saw glimpses of them being good when we went 3 13 and 1
What about that 1 reciever that is really fast
jameson williams is cool, but hes more of a spot player. he'll occasionally come out and dust somebody for a td but he doesn't usually start.
He's the secret sauce

@@Loganbub jamison williams is fine. It's all the barf ppl keep puking at him that sux
@@Loganbub Goff can occasionally toss a nuke. Tom Brady method
Nobody deserves it…. Because they ALL do this year from top to bottom.
He left out James Houston

Why are you uploading nfl stuff this channel is for baseball make an other channel for nfl
