Would love it if you were able to ski the bowls again in this powder. I was just back there and texted my wife that i didn't know this was a bucket list item before i headed down poppy fields for first tracks, but with five inches of powder it was. This video shows your ability but man it doesn't look much fun with all the ice. Champagne Glades had much more and it was amazing.
You sir are an animal. I think Vail owes you money. Was just there feb 14 thru 19, good snow day on the 17th... cant ski like that anymore, 61 but i love cruising now..so..cheers
I will try to watch the rest of this later. Do you know what the actual date was? I was told that Vail opened up their bowls before Breckenridge did last season. If that is the case I might head out there this year when they open up their bowls.
At first I was like, “this guy is pretty good” Then he hit those black diamond mogul trails and now I’m like 😳. Did Yonder for the first time today, and it was quite the challenge
Do you do any kind of conditioning? My legs would be beat to a pulp doing even just 25% of what you're showing in the video, and nowhere near as skillfully...impressive stuff!
The back bowls almost always have very poor skiing conditions. The reason for that is they face the sun. They're crusty nasty not fun to ski at all. Anyone who thinks otherwise has never lived in Vail. I can here the terrible conditions under your skis.
@@coloradocamera I may have been a bit harsh. The back bowls after a cover of fresh powder is awesome. Also love doing the Minturn mile in any condition.
I lived there for 7 seasons and can honestly say I never skied the entire mountain/Ridgelines/bowls. What was fun were the cornices. They're kinda like cliffs. Never skied outer Mongolia or the east Vail chutes. Basically we were based out of lions head and stayed close to home. Good times!
Most underrated skiing vlog on youtube. Keep it up!
Thanks bro 🙏 I appreciate it!

Yo! Someone needs to film you. Amazing athlete.
You’re an unbelievable skier. In the words of Shane McConkey “best damn skier on this mountain!”
Not nearly the best but I appreciate it bro! I just love the sport but theres always something new to progress on
Sick dude! Well done. I haven't been there forever...

How long does it take to go on the gaundala
Goes fast holds 10 people per cabin
Certified badass
Your go pro cant keep up with you bro!
No music! Thanks
Dude! Slow down through those trees! I’d be dead if I tried skiing through trees like that.
At least the trees are predictable other skiers on crowded slopes? Not so much.

Northwoods and Blue Sky Basin was better snow forsure, maybe a nice spring day in the bowls is better

@@jeffmutrie227 I was impressed by some of the cliffs at Vail theres some good stuff there forsure
