    If anyone is looking for even more detail on the recorder I did another video on it. th-cam.com/video/w_kD980gSX0/w-d-xo.html

    This is as good as TH-cam gets! Thank you for making a great video, very clearly articulating every detail needed, and no extra to avoid tangential details I get derailed into when trying to teach content..,. Even your voice, style, everything - top shelf.
    You rock!
    Ps: killer hair too…. Maybe I should grow mine back out now that I’m greying fast…😊

    Damn you Todd, you got me hooked on amplitube again.
    jumped on biasfx 2 over a year ago, didn't have the patience to deal with the kludgy interface of AT5.
    looks like it's improved, still has a way to go but headed in the right direction..
    Tonet is amazing !!
    thanks again, going through your playlist on TH-cam ✌️

      LOL, yeah, I'm hoping they fix some obvious flaws in AT6 but I do like how this sounds. Just did the most recent episode today where I try to clear up some confusion over IK's use of Input 1 and Input 2 when they really mean Left and Right.

    Great video! I’m trying to figure out how to export wav files in mono. It defaults to stereo, I’ve got a guitarist sharing guitar track she recorded but their no good no me in stereo ???? Thanks

      I don't know how to do this with AT5. You CAN do this with other tools. One free tool that comes to mind is Audacity.
      Here's a link that shows taking a stereo track to mono in Audacity. th-cam.com/video/XD8CR4fJIoI/w-d-xo.html
      If you are on a Mac GarageBand can also do it. Put the .wav file on two tracks, Shift click to select both tracks. Then use Edit→Join and in the resulting dialog choose Mono.
      Full featured DAWs like Reaper give you options for taking the L channel, the R channel or downmixing both channels into mono.

    Thanks for the vid. I have a problem and it's that when I go to the file audio it's without effects, fully clean, and when I open the project and hear the song in amplitude, it's with the effects and everything. Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks 😊

      I'll give the steps I use on macOS but it should be very similar on Windows.
      1. In the recorder window select the range of the recording you want to export with the loop markers. (The loop range should show in gray, not red).
      2. Unmute all the tracks you want to export. (Or solo all the tracks you want)
      3. Use the File→Export (⌘E) to save your recording with all the effects applied.
      4. In the dialog that opens click the Browse... option to set the location, and the file name.
      5. Then if the other options are OK, click the Export button
      Or for my video that goes into more depth on the recording capabilities: th-cam.com/video/w_kD980gSX0/w-d-xo.html

    how can I extend a song? right now mine is stuck at 72 bars. is that the most it can do?

    • @UncleTodMusic
      @UncleTodMusic  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not that I know of. I'm on macOS, and as an experiment I just set the tempo to 133 and dragged in a song and it was 150+ measures long. Then I positioned the red record head at measure 160 and hit record and it recorded. I would think moving the record head and hitting record would work for you but if not, try dragging a long wav or mp3 file into an unused track and see if it gets cut off or extends your project. If you still have problems you might try the IKM forums but provide as much info about the problem as you can, including what OS your are using. forum.ikmultimedia.com

    The time bar as shown at 6:38 dose not show the measure and beat, it shows the time of the song in seconds.
    How can I change it to read as per mesure and not in seconds?

    • @UncleTodMusic
      @UncleTodMusic  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The quick answer may be: left click (normal click) on the clock in the bottom center. It will toggle between showing MMM.BB:SD (Measure, Beat, subdivision) to showing HH:MM:SS
      I'm a little confused as to why you think what is shown by your link is the time. Your link takes me to point where the clock at the bottom shows 001:01:02 - which means (left-to-right) the 1st measure, the first beat, the 2nd 16th note in that beat. That third value changes what it represents based on your selected time signature.
      I have noticed that visually, the measure bar at the top, and the clock at the bottom, are not always in sync. They can be off by one subdivision (1/16th note in 4/4 time). The waveform display even appears to be out of sync with the top time bar. Because of this I do only minimal editing in AT5. If I wanted to do anything detailed I would move to a more accurate digital audio workstation like Reaper. I would print the track from AT5 first, and then bring that STeM into another DAW for further work.

      What I was referring to at the time stamp at 6:38 is what you highlighted in a yellow box at the top of the recording UI. For me It shows the project in the total seconds, not in measures.

    hey friend how can I record the pedal loop in reaper with amplitube 5? i would like to use the pedal loop, to make a solo after and record as a track

    • @UncleTodMusic
      @UncleTodMusic  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would guess that’s more something you do with Reaper rather than with AT5. The plugin in Reaper won’t give you the pedal loop option but you should be able to record your “loop” normally in Reaper and then just use the editing tools to replicate as much as you want or use the playback looping tools in Reaper.

    Hi could you help me find a way to record modo drums in amplitube? thanks

    • @UncleTodMusic
      @UncleTodMusic  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sorry, I don't own Modo drums so I know nothing about it. I do show in this video around 4:30 how I used a drum track I exported from GarageBand in AT. So I would think at a minimum, if you can export a wav file from Modo drums you could do the same. Good Luck.
