On Pernell's birthday in 2016 the city of Waycross, GA (his hometown) dedicated the city park where he played as a child as The Pernell Roberts Memorial park. On his birthday in 2018 a monument with his picture was placed by his fans. He will never be forgotten.
When I was a little girl I fell love with parnell. I told my daddy, ( I'm going to marry Adam when I grow up).daddy just laughed with a spark of joy in his eyes. I miss my daddy and will always love Adam! Parnell was a very handsome man with a beautiful singing voice.
I have been a fan of his every since I can remember. Im 35 & have seen all bonanza shows over and over again. Even the young croud loved and still love him. RIP Pernell Roberts a.k.a Adam;) miss u
Meu grande amor da minha vida, estou com saudades de você,penso em você noite e dia, se tivesse você em todas as temporadas de bonanza, seria ótimo,os episódios que tem você eu sei de cor e saltiado. ♥️💜💙💛💚♥️💜💙💛💚.
My favorite Cartwright. Trapper John was good, too. He was also in the first Jack Ryan movie "The Hunt for Red October" but you have to be really concentrating or you will miss him.
OMG this absolutely wonderful. I was just thinking as I was listening to this that "Yes my dear Pernell you were loved, and while we loved you you were also touching us in a very profound way' . Then I saw that you included that as well. Bravo Pernellsfaithfulfan on beautiful tribute to our hero.
@Pernellsfaithfulfan-the song and pics say it all. You did an amazing job. You even have a picture of his little boy. When it comes to PR only his fan club can understand what it goes on inside of oneself every time one sees this drop dead gorgeous creature. I want to die everytime I see the beauty of his eyes, his body, his voice, his talent and greatness. What I feel is like a huge case of addiction and I am absolutelly in love with the man. God help us.
What would have been cool would to have seen Pernell continue his Adam Cartwright character as we saw him travel from different television westerns. Like here on the Virginian but as Adam Cartwright. He could have appeared on the High Chaparral, Gunsmoke, the Big Valley, etc
Oh wow.. what a magnificent tribute indeed...thank you so much.. hes one gentleman that seemed to continually improve in looks as he aged gracefully before he was ushered into heaven.... see you there my friend....my gorgeous wonderful kind soul. You will ALWAYS be so loved and cherished :)

I could (and almost have sometimes it seems) to listen to these clips re that favorite actor of mine, Pernell Roberts. Oh, what he did as an actor...as Wm Holden, he never had a bad performance...all my woman friends in last 7-8 decades adored him...to me he was Bonanza...and I could go on and on & on. Death is awful and some entertainers come into our lives so much I (we) feel as friends or whatever. I felt terrible when he..several other entertainers died...but we have film, thank goodness. THANK YOU for posting this, it picked me up very much. Best, wl
@Pernellsfaithfulfan I was a little suspicious, but I thought it wouldn't hurt asking. I was thinking maybe in a western museum some where. Now wouldn't that be nice?
I had never seen a lot of those pictures before. You should post them at Bonanza World's archives for all to enjoy. I enjoyed yoru video so much! The song was perfect.
Kim, this video is so beautiful! All the pics and music, just wonderful! Brought tears to my eyes. Alot of pics I had not seen before. Gave it a five star rating gal. and adding to my fav's.

No. He was a special kind of man.

This is not Pernell singing.
