- It’s loud, yellow and absolutely colossal. This is the Hennessey VelociRaptor. It’s pretty powerful too, at 623bhp, and a certain tame racing driver wouldn’t let it leave the Top Gear studio before grabbing the keys for one hot, and occasionally sideways, lap around the TG track.
We think he was going for fun rather than speed in this one, so we didn’t time it (and note, this is only footage of the lap, so it’s not indicative of the time, one and all). Anyway, here's what happened when Stig wrestled the big yellow behemoth around a very wet Dunsfold…

Thats how it is pushing something 100% not designed for it. First "car" was a nissan titan. Hung the ass out a lot in spite of the open diff. Tons of fun, and so lazy to slide lol

I'm honestly surprised how well that thing handled the track. It didn't show a single sign of wanting to roll over.

I didn't see it wanting to let go of the track either. A bit of power-sliding, maybe, but nothing that said it didn't have any traction at all.

The only way that we won't see Jeremy again on Top Gear, or Top Gear at all for that matter, is if he leaves himself. He's worth way too much to the BBC and as is pretty damn obvious, millions of people will go against the BBC is they fire him.
DimensiiioN They suspended him, not fired. And no one knows what he did or what the situation was. The media blow everything out of proportion and judging from his attitude towards the whole thing, I can't imagine it was as stupid and simple as "He didn't get steak, so he punched a producer."

I don't care for the clarkson stuff I signed the petition cause he's an entertaining presenter but I do care about the BBC not airing the films that were prepared for the show.
***** They don't have the studio segments filmed. They film those bits a few days before the episodes air, and they haven't filmed the one for this week's episode, and they can't now, because Clarkson isn't there.

The Stig sure loves the scream of the supercharger because he's doesn't listening any music in the Ford while he drives!
I raced one of these 2 weeks ago! Thought it was just a 6.2 NA and an easy kill but he stayed half a truck length in front the whole time until we hit 80mph when I decided there was no catching him and I figured out what that whining was lol. He was more surprised I stayed that close to him and that's when he told me he had the Hennessy package (2011 F-150 FX2 Sport EcoBoost Twin Turbo V6, 93 Tuned, 24psi, 530bhp 640tq, 3.15 Gears)
Hmm...curious what the time was. I'd imagine it wasn't all that groundbreaking due to a multitude of factors such as the rain, the weight, etc. I wonder if it would slide around like that in the dry.
