Seeing the second girl dye that absolutely GORGEOUS natural hair made me want to die inside.
I'm betting her mother wasn't very pleased with her either.
Same!!
Ugh. It broke my heart. I have SO LITTLE HAIR and it's crazy fine, and I would literally cut off a finger for that hair. Just 💔
She's looking for something new, some fresh challenge. She doesn't need a makeover; she needs a new skill or challenge!
I agree, it was a mistake. However, if a 15 year old is going to make a decision they regret, this one is pretty minor. 🥰
Hair Buddha policing his daughters' hair experiments after watching all these hair fails😂
I love that
If Buddha was my Dad, I wouldn't have to color my own hair.
@@Youre-Welcomeor they would learn to not have fails
“It’s… special.” 😂😂😂 Freakin love HB!
Teenager: “I don’t have time for this.” (Reading the directions.) I started box dying around 13, but I read those directions like I was gonna have a test on it the next day! And I had my bff to help. BUT my mom wouldn’t let me bleach. “Bleach is ONLY for professionals!” At 45, I still live by those words! (And there were no box bleach kits around those days from what I remember. And definitely no purple shampoo!)
Funny, I remember using Shimmer Lights purple shampoo in 1984, when I was bleaching my bangs to look like John Taylor's!
Shhh.😊😊actually, there were bleach kits around before you were even born. I'm 65. Been bleaching my own hair since the mid seventies. Now only highlights since my hair is below my waist.
@@LaynieFingers 🤯No way! Ya learn something new every day! I guess since I had no need for it, I thought it was just shampoo in a purple bottle.
@@thaismatsumoto Damn! I guess I was trained not to look in that forbidden area. I’d enter a drugstore, and go right for the boxes that were my shade (7) or darker, and look at the pretty colors until I was whisked away longingly 😩
Happy Monday everyone, Hair Buddha is the best way to start our week!😊
🎉🎉🎉
Perfect end to my day 💙
I love it when Buddha says "It's special," 😂
Sections, sections, we don't need no stinking sections. Lol
"Gurrlll..I'm not really gonna do it"...
I DID IT!!🎉 😂 ❤❤❤
I can’t believe the fact that you don’t have millions subscribers! You are waaaaaay better at explaining and helping people than any other hairdressers out there on TH-cam. I can watch your videos for hours and your tips helped me so much when I was coloring my hair blonde. I hope you reach millions and thank you Hair Buddha for everything you do. Peace and love❤️
😍
Got my long hair dyed purple ombré into my natural brown 2 weeks ago and it is beautiful! My stylist is amazing. Thank you for not only entertaining us but educating us, I would’ve probably killed my hair trying to do this at home! 💓❤️💚 Hair Buddha!!!!!!
Speaking of your children…you and your wife are amazing parents! Love seeing your family dynamic on your travel channel!
Thank you
@Hair Buddha, I recently purchased AUTHENTIC BEAUTY CONCEPT products for my wavy hair. I live in Texas and can't do much about the hard water in my apt. I could see the shine after the first wash. My hair is improving weekly. Thank you so much. 💓
You can get a new charcoal filter water nozzle for your shower. And use bottled water.
It’s….special 😂😂😂😂
Sounding like an ”old dad” for the win 😂
Splat is PURE direct dye. You have to be extremely careful using it. And to get it even and true to the box, you MUST use a color brush and take sections while using it. It's the type of dye I use when I go to a color. Splat also makes midnight colors that are meant to be used on unbleached hair, and they turn out beautifully when applied correctly. But I DO NOT recommend first time home dyers using the product.
Again, I laughed out loud again when you say “special”…haha
She is adorable and her hair is so pretty just like it is. I feel bad for her because she has no idea.
"Forget sectioning " PFFFTT!😂
"It's... special." 🤣 🤣 🤣
Happy Monday, Hair Buddha and Friends! You’ve literally *saved my life* w these videos in what I can only consider a cursed year. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Also, I’ve seen your Iceland videos and your daughters’ natural hair is beautiful and what we all want when we try to bleach/dye ours! They are so lucky to have a father like you ❤
I've just spent the last 3 weeks bleaching my black box dyed natural 3b dark brown curly hair to a level 8/9. I still have my curls and no breakage. It was a long process it's really not easy however, I have no regrets and would rather do my hair myself than ever go to a hairdresser as I've had 3 make my hair fall out and I don't trust them! Until I get an appointment with Hair Bhudda I'll stick to doing my own 😊 FYI I used Wella Blondor and Welloxon developer at 20vol for the whole process.
20vol 🤩
2:29 your facial expression says it all!! LMAO 🤣 3:23 😂
Your videos are the best, we sit together as a whole family and watch your videos. ❤
🫶
I'm always explaining to clients you must replace what you have taken out by bleaching, if the hair isn't filled pre pigmented you will always have a hollow or kachki translousent lifeless colour, but hey they keep me in work always look forward to your videos hair budah
Years ago, I decided to dye my waist length, natural brown hair jet black for Halloween. It said that it only last for three washes! Any of you that watch this channel long enough know….. I had jet black hair until it grew enough that I could cut it off! TEMPORARY MY *SS!
❤😂🎉NOT YELLING ALMOST COMPLETELY BLIND I CANT GET ENOUGH OF HAIR BUDDAH BEST CHANNEL ON YT WE LOVE YOU HAIR BUDDAH BLESSINGS ON YOUR HOUSEHOLD ALWAYS ❤
Great father you are. Don't let kids to ruin their hair. ❤
I have two boys that wanted their hair colored blue, so I bought a blue hair dye and dyed their hair. Nothing happened. Nothing at all. After watching this video, I now know why! Thank you for making me more informed 😊
I finally decided I wanted to have colorful hair, but I didn't want to mess up all of my hair, so I had the back of my hair colored rainbow colors and it only showed when I put my hair up. It was fun to play with. After I got tired of it I decided to bleach my hair (which is dyed light brown but is probably salt and pepper at this point). I did a bleach bath so it wouldn't be too harsh. I used number 10 developer out of fear. I ended up with completely lovely pale blond hair. If I ever do it again, that's how I'll do it. Low volume developer and a good bleach bath. Seeing all these videos of people destroying their hair has made me proceed with extreme caution. AND I owe it all to these videos. Thanks Hair Buddha!
When the 2nd girl pulled out the Splat, I screamed Nooo! Splat's direct dye pigments are industrial strength dyes and do not wash out! If you have one with a metallic sheen, that is permanent and can damage your hair with any bleaching or coloring afterwards. Stay away from Splat! I think she has the same kind I used that is meant for darker hair, she def didn't have enough for her long hair, maybe a lucky mistake. My experience below...
I used a Splat midnight purple on my virgin brown hair about 5 years ago that was supposed to wash out after so many washes. I tried everything to get it out: super damaging things like the combos of Vit C, Dawn, baking soda, (do not try they all fry your hair!), Head & Shoulders shampoo frequently (does help fade color, but is drying), and my hairstylist did professional color remover treatments and even bleach. All that happened is it went from dark purple to dark pink, only coming out of my hair as it grows and I CUT it out!
You sound like an old dad who’s good advice I needed in my teens lol. I ruined my hair then and more in beauty school. I’m meaningfully regrowing it these days.
HAIR BUDDAHS DAUGHTER'S ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE HIM AS THEIR DADS I WOULD JUST DIE OF HAPPINESS IF I COULD HAVE HAIR BUDDAH CRITIQUE MY NATURAL HAIR AND TELL ME HOW I CAN MAKE MT NATURAL SALTNPEPPER HAIR BETTER ❤

Maybe so but it's only hair it grows back!! People act like it's a matter of life or death just let ppl be and do what they want to do!
@@Bluebutterfly80 you're right ! I was just talking from experience 😂 spares some months and months of waiting for hair to grow back hehe

Omg what a mess 😮
Second girl.... NO, don't do it! Your hair is beautiful. Don't mess it up with boxed color.
15! I was still playing with dolls at 15 😂
Happy Monday morning Hair Buddha!
Happy Monday
I really needed something to make me smile today! Thank you Hair Buddha ❤❤❤
With the first model, who said it's special a half second before HB. 🙋♀️ 😂. I would never bleach my own hair at home. But I've learned so very much about what to do and what not to do watching these videos. 😍🤩
Have a great week everyone 💜💜
Splat does NOT work!!😂😢 I feel so bad for this girl
When dying your hair, make sure you 100% okay with this 👌Great tips & thanks Hair Buddha 🤗✂️
Hi HB!!!! From Akron, Ohio, USA!!!! Hope everyone has a great day!!!
Thank you❤Same to you!
Ditto 💐
Always happy to see another NE Ohioan! I'm from Salem, have a great day!
I dye my hair outside no mess no fumes ... Buddha your not old just a wise owl .. thank you 🇦🇺
Core message to every Hair Buddha vid: USE 20 VOLUME PEOPLE!!!!
Her hair is really a beautiful colour naturally
1st reminds me book with pieces od dyed hair so you can choose hair dye shade 😂
I'm glad it turned out so good for the first 2 girls
Thank you for my evening entertainment, from a fellow hairdresser in the U.K x
Dear Hair Buddha, would you make a reaction video on middle aged women are affected by most: grey hair. I have chestnut 🌰 hair colour naturally but the past 4 years more and more grey hair pops up. Is there any method to slow down turning grey? Sincerely, a middle aged woman from Hungary
Your hair is so beautiful, I love the natural highlights and honestly I think that you never get that really natural look back once you colour it 😮😢😮😢😮
I’m a hairdresser for almost 18 years and I’ve been coloring my kids hair since they were little. Nothing on the scalp- low volume- it’s a fun time- hair grows!
My kids are older too, I took them to the salon. SPLAT is a color that hairdressers in the USA won't try to take out, it's very difficult to remove apparently!
Yay got my coffee and Hair Buddah ❤️☕️
Agree when you said that it’ll won’t wash completely. I had no regrets to dying my hair red with box dye, back in 2013. Because I like the faded hue of red on my natural light brown hair,
3:27 😂 It's not as bad. Job well done. However she looks like those colour pieces you have, when you try to figure out what colour you want for the walls or something 😂😂😂
I audibly gasped for both of the first girl’s reveals! 😬
I absolutely love this guy and his feedback, but I am HYPNOTIZED by his forehead wrinkles. They are magical.
"I guess its different" 😅😅😅 yes, it is. A little bit 😅😅
I used to colour my hair all the time but now I let my stylist do it and it always looks amazing! Jeff from Berkana❤❤
@AlvarezGuillermo-me hello
@AlvarezGuillermo-me good and you?
I feel bad because they’re trying - which is great to always try! Some of them are learning from their attempts.
But still watching these beginners, it’s always like watching someone trying to bleach or dye their hair using only their elbows. 😂😂
my hair went gummy 18 months ago and i used treatments everytime i washed my hair. Now it only gets dry on the ends after a few days but the gummyness went away. putting temporary coulous also helps with stopping the dryness until almost all the colour is gone
I just bleached and dyed my hair hot pink :D
15:59 She did do it in one day... And the hair was so dry before. It incredible that it didn't noodle off already. But I think the toner gave it the last drop
I buy a plastic paint drop cloth from the dollar store as protection for my bathroom. Cheap and disposable.
Crazy colour/direct dye. To get the colour off your bathroom etc use cheap cream cleaner.
put the color in a bigger squirt bottle and add water to dilute the developer, it will wash out better, basically a colorwash.
The second girl had so beautiful hair 💔
I just found this channel, and I love him! So funny....😂
2:10😂 Good one! Let a bowl of colour drop and say: "Honey, it slipped out of my gloved hand.😢 It's not my fault."😂😂
Oooor, you might safe it with some luck by that method. Make it look like it should have splatter pattern 😅
My cousin did the walls in her kids room similar to this. She made it look as of different colours had run down the wall. So there are many many stripes of paint on white ground. Looks very cool! Only she needed to experiment on the thickness of the colour a bit
That splatt hair die stains everything. The one she bought is for dark hair and usually works well. But in my experience sometimes natural hair won't take die, I had that problem when I first started dying. I use splatt and have ended up with red ears red hands and red scalp. It comes off eventually. The blue is the worst for staining the bathtub though. Especially if you shower because it splashes everywhere or your tub has water drain slowly and it sits in the tub for a while. It's best to rinse it as low as you can to the drain. Magic erasers work well for removing it from surfaces but wear gloves when using them because they to are toxic
12:35 So she started on the top ...and after her left side...she stopped sectioning 😂 Hell yes, this will be sooo even😅🙈
I used red Splat before and I can say, that stuff stains everything!
"i dont sound like a hairdresser. i sound like an old dad" 😂
Hi from Germany. I love you videos! ❤
When I bleached my hair(for over 10 years) I hardly spilt a drop anywhere. I don't know how she managed to spread it over such a wide area, the second girl. I got some on my neck once and was like,well..thats sloppy!
I had a balayage done 2 years ago at first it was okay and I loved it but then once it started growing out and fading I realised I couldn’t afford to keep up the maintenance and my natural hair was also too dark for blonde which ended up really washing me out and making me self conscious , 2 years later and I’ve only got 2 inches of it left in my hair and it’s gone, cannot wait to have my fully natural colour back again I’ve genuinely missed it and never dying my hair again lmao 🤣
Monday 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
New Video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My theory is....... if it's a complete fail, clippers work well 😂
Been there, done that more than once 😅
Good thing, I look good with really short hair 😊
I don’t know why these young girls continue to ruin their hair when there are salons with experienced beauticians everywhere !! 😢
11:14 its basically blue spot in the middle of her hair. But ok, let the kids do their mistakes and have some fun
That 15yr old girl is so pretty, and her gorgeous brown natural colour with natural highlights... if I was her I'd slap some medium-dark brown dye over those blue patches at the top of her head and forget it ever happened. The dye will wear off her scalp in time.
"I don't sound like a hair dresser. I sound like an old dad"
Not a bad thing. ♥
I think it's GOOD that you point things like this out... because while yes, wild colors ARE beautiful... so too is the natural. Some people pay LOTS of money to get that Natural Brown... Natural Golden blondes.... Natural Red (gorgeous!) .... because nature can only be mimicked. And usually the copy isn't as good as the original.
If want wild colors... WIGS ... Extensions ... My daughter too ain't going to be having Pink hair dyed... That causes so much damage. Yes it's beautiful... but can get similar results with wig/extensions for similar price AND it lasts longer.
When my daughter was 16 she had thigh length hair. She decided to dip about 6 inches of the bottom in red koolaid. Now the bottom of her naturally blonde hair was bright red. Nothing worked to get the color out. The worst part was that she was to walk the runway in a fashion show in a week. She made it to the fashion show with hair about 6 inches shorter. Lesson learned
I have been 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 during this post!
When you have the urge to drastically change your hair, and you CAN'T stop yourself, you just HAVE to.
STOP
call a friend, your hair isn't your issue
"Run" 😂
I didn't mind that initial yellow, at least it looked intentional.
“Freehand”….hahaha
Reminds me of the wigs they use in CATS but long
Oh my gosh!
The girl who got the splat hair color 😬
needs about three bottles of that garbage...
She shouldn't even do it, her hair is gorgeous.
Note to self: make mess with hair die to for reason why to do a bathroom remodel…. Mess bathroom up in fine sections…
It's....special 😂
My oldest daughter is 26 n my younger is 22. My younger has only bleached n dyed the under of the back
I still can't get over the fact that she was 15.. When did kids become so grown up? I literally looked like a baby at 15. Now who sounds old? 😂🤦🏻♀️
Love hair buddha💙uk
9:41 😵🤯nooo did she just say shower? Now it won't be only her hands that look like smurfs. But her entire body....oh and the poor towel. Where is the mom to rescue her from that?!🙈😩
I’m surprised you didn’t say that Splat is the worst to put in your hair & a hairstylist’s worst nightmare lol
Splat is no good for your hair! It's actually a fabric dye sold as hair dye. Trying to remove it is near impossible without extreme damage.
15 is the perfect age to learn this lesson
The last color was pretty.
I dye my hair at home and always rinse it off with the hose outside. Otherwise my bathroom is a mess i have to clean up
3:30 YT doesn't like the u and g plus ly, another word that can be used.😂 I wanted to cut my hair at home. Hence I am here so Hair Buddha can help me NOT DO IT!❤️ I color my hair at home without making anything dirty. Not even myself.
lol I probably use the same color and but I also use Splat as the second girl. I recently have my hair bleached already so I didn’t use it and it came out great. I also recommend to have someone to help you and yes it will stain. I was also 15 years old when I started dying my hair and pledge to myself of not bleaching my own hair.
