    DSi XL legit has like 12 hours game time, and after 6 months if keeping it in my drawer, it still had full battery. It's legit an excellent emergency back up entertainment system lmao

      Oh but the DPAD on that thing is literal garbage, it's really flush to the surface, if your nails are slightly too long, you're fricked, atleast it's a good excuse to keep up with your hygiene, especially if you're poor jajajaja. Also diagonals are really hard to press, bleh

    DSi is easily my favorite DS variant in terms of build quality. Even the New3DS feels cheap in comparison. I recently bought a New3DS on ebay (for admittedly way too much money), but only because I wanted to be able to play the 3ds exclusive games. When I want to play ds games my old DSi is stillmthe go-to.

      I absolutely love my DSi and it’s lasted forever but it still hurts whenever i get a tiny scratch on that matte plastic

    In 2012 I gave my Nintendo DSi and two of my most loved Pokemon games to my friend Izzy. I hope she's doing good; havent talked in some time. I wonder how much if any she played those games

      She probably sold them on Ebay, since they're worth some good money.

    The only thing I don’t like about the DSi is the modding scene. When you mod it you get the twilight menu and it’s really cool and all like seriously it’s awesome! But when you use that mod it takes away all of the vanilla apps I still want to use the camera and the music app too! (I could be wrong about that the twilight menu is the only mod tho)

      hiyaCFW is the better thing for you then, I found that it took about 15 seconds to boot into twillight and almost 30 seconds to boot up a dsiware title! hiya allows you to have the same vanilla system apps and have 100% dsiware compatibility

    I wouldn’t because of lack of backwards compatibility.

    Underrated, certainly.
    Better than the DS Lite, never.

      DS Lite sucked though. Fragile and the buttons are mushy and uncomfortable.

    could you please show USA money equivalent ?

    • @MetallicFear
      @MetallicFear  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In most cases including US, it goes DS lite - DSi - 2DS - DSi XL(Cheapest to most expensive). But like mentioned in the video, from my experience, it's much easier to find DSi at good condition compared to DS lite. Price will also vary depending on your region too. My suggestion is to check all sites/stores selling retro games and compare prices that way.
      It's a bit limited here in Aus so we don't have much options here other than Ebay, but US from what I've heard is a haven for retro gaming. So there's a good chance any research I do online for US pricing will likely be inaccurate.
