I loved the character breakfast at Disneyland. That being said I now work with children 9 hours a day and don’t want to be near them on my vacation. 😂😂😂
I used to not want to be around kids but then I started teaching when my kid was a toddler and its really weird how I am better at it now. Adults still annoy the crap out of me, because adult and fewer excuses for ignorance or being a jerk, but on a cruise, I have been really lucky and come across mostly sweet and well mannered kids, and thats been during peak family cruise time.
Thanks for this video and review! We have it booked for our cruise in May. I know Katie will be over the moon about it. Still debating on if it should be a surprise or if we should tell her ahead of time. Great stuff! Hope to sail with you sometime soon! -Julie
Having done character breakfasts with Disney and others, high quality elevated food is not the point - kids would not eat it. It's the memory and experience. I think I am going to book this on the Celebration with my daughters (now 22 and 20) :)
Honestly it should be both. If the food is gross why even bother as you now have to go eat breakfast afterwards. The kids eat the Disney character breakfast.
So for $10 a person. Can you order anything you want for example, can you order waffles and then order another dish that has eggs and stuff in it. For one flat fee or is each dish additional money. How’s the work? My sister and I are going to this breakfast our next cruise in April I am we’re doing this breakfast but we’re curious to every time you order a dish of the menu is a part of the $10 or is each dish an additional charge.
We are cruising on the Breeze Aug 2023. I reserved this character Breaksfast for the experience for my daughter. We will likely plan to eat an early lunch. It’s a surprise bday breakfast so I’m sure the taste won’t matter to her. I will likely get the steak lol. Thanks for the video
You caught me! The shot was my friend's plate not mine. His came out first and then I didn't get a shot of mine because I was like "okay, steak and eggs: done" 😆
Nope. It’s just the $10. If you feel like tipping cash additionally, you can. But there’s no expectation for you to do so. I forget if I showed that I ordered a mimosa. That was extra. Everything else was included.
quick qn.. were ur friends in same room.. how do you make sure friends of other room get seated with you? is it something you need to tell while booking?
The way I did it is that I added their bookings to my cruise manager and then I was able to pay for all of us in one transaction. I needed their booking numbers and one last name to do it. I imagine there’s another way to combine reservations into one table but I couldn’t say what it is. You could try going to the MDR the first afternoon when they’re there to take allergy and other requests.
Very good review Lauren!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful!

😆 I hear you. I wanted to see what it was like and was lucky to have not that many kids on my sailing.

When I go I’m asking for a bowl of those smiley macarons! 😍
Why didn’t I think of that?! 😆

Yes! I think everyone in my group got two things!

Good choice! I have no regrets about going. It’s not like there isn’t more free food elsewhere. Just wish my waffle had a bit more flavor haha.
Looks like a fun breakfast but your “over easy” eggs came out scrambled! 🤣

After we pay before the cruise? Do we have to pay extra during the sitting?

I've been there twice and I didn't know about the coloring book... is it free?
The kid’s menu is in it. You just have to ask because they use the digital menus now. Yes, it’s free!
How long did this last?
From when they let us in until the end of the closing song was a little over an hour. Thanks for watching!
