Am I the only one who thinks that this is a guy singing to his own reflection of himself? The positive and negative parts of himself battling, like when it says I want something beautiful to say to never fade away I want to live forever isn't that what we all want, to be remembered?
Just a few months ago, I was suicidal over my dad's death. Seether sang a song called Rise Above This. I cried cause it touched my heart to keep doing and all doubt will pass and good will come around. I love you dad.

It seems to me that on almost all videos I watch someone is picking the song/video to pieces. Just watch the video and listen to the music!
