Every team that plays against the 1 seed does well the first game and crap the next game. They come in strong, then get discouraged. They need to keep the intensity.
I’m pretty sure its just general wear and tear. Hard courts and especially playing singles is absolutely brutal on your knees and since she plays and drills so much it’s just bound to happen. I’m honestly shocked more players don’t have knee braces and just straight up knee issues
This tournament had pool play followed by bracket. Bright and Tardio were second overall seed at the start of the tournament but finished second in their pool.
Most often, Bright likes to start the speed-up hand combat, but in fact, most of her shots are actually outball if the opponents can get out of the way quickly. She needs to be more patient and actually learn more soft touch handling (drop reset) instead of always bruteforce her way out to win a point. The only reason she picked Tardio is she THINKS he is a good match-up against Ben during a hand-combats speed-up but obviously miss calculated Ben's other skills (speed-up backend roll). She always plays like a shark, as she likes to attack first, and she thinks attacking is better than being patient waiting for your opponent to make a mistake. She should try play more singles and see how far her attacking strategy can get her so she can evolve her game more.
Best I’ve seen Ben johns play in a while
send pizaa boy back to dominos
Look at Ben's defense on the last point; the guy is incredible
Congratulations I love watching Ben and ALW play, so smooth. What a terrific match and great commentary
I agree Ben J was amazing and clearly the reason they won
Not to bash, but how do you have the 1 & 2 seed play in the semi finals? What tournament organization is that? 😅
This tournament had pool play in the first round. Single elimination in the championship bracket.

what is wrong with Anna Leigh's knee?

The only cure for pickleball fever is more pickleball. It’s tough on the body no question
why is 1st seed vs 2nd seed not the final?

It wasn't a 42 point rally🤪Announcer knows everything 🤔
Why is #1 playing #2 in semi’s?
Waters/Johns may be better than Johns/Johns.
The crowd shpuld learn to be quieter during points
its almost getting bored nobody can challenge AB's dominance in xd . need more new talents...
ALW should play against BJ or many other men just to give her a little competition and make things more interesting.
