We’ve had this for a year and it’s a great investment. The app is still awful so we never use it. We just empty it once the red light illuminates

The bottom symbol on the "display" is the disposal bin. If RED, it means it is full. Otherwise is fine. Note, their EARLY firmware had a problem where it would always say the bin is full. Just update the firmware in the app and it will fix it.
I just got mine today and it’s just white and blinking ugh and then it’ll change to red and blinking even though it’s completely clean and up to date on firmware.
@@faithterry6256 I believe Popur based the FULL disposal bin on if the door can close or not. So, check if the disposal bin door is not closing all way (caused by the bag getting in the way?).
I love the idea of this but I don't like it comes with a cardboard waste bin and spending the extra 90 for a plastic one seems a bit of a con for the price of them to start with. How do you find the sealing of smells etc with the cardboard ones?

PROBLEM WITH THIS UNIT IS AFTER A COUPLE OF MONTHS THE PART WHERE THE FILTER SCREEN SCREWS ON TO IS A WEAK PLASTIC PART THAT BREAKS WHEN THE MACHINE STARTS LEVELING THE LITTER.
The waste cover lid does not auto close or open anymore...how to fix? Thanks

There is smell when it cleans the tray, since the disposal bin is OPEN at that time.
The rake picks up the cat poop but doesn’t empty in the opened trash bin. It just fell back into the litter pan!!
Yes, for some pieces, they might fall back, but for the most part all fall into the waste bin.
These are direct sales, so the listed price is the one you'll pay. Forget Amazon. The problem is that this unit costs nearly as much as the best open tray automatic litter box, which is far more durable in construction, more desirable re how it cleans, and does not involve the overpriced materials consumption of this unit to remove and discard collected waste.
