    Nice.. My first car was a 1953 4 door, paid 75 dollars for it... in 1968

    I get tears in My eyes just looking at this beautyfull chevy you know My first car chevy bel air 1954 powerglide i Was 18 years old and the Girls loved My car back in 1970 oh god you know to own your own car this young it Was awsome indepence go any place you like to own this beautyfull car is life you Are free thanks jeff and Jordan for this wonderfull video have a wonderfull Day

    Nice car ..The trim and paint are in excellent condition someone put some extra time into restoring it

    What a great-looking car. It is amazing just how different that this '53 Bel Air looks from the '55, seeing it really makes you appreciate just how radical of a design change that the '55 was.
    I love the color, it really compliments the lines and the chrome. This would be a great cruising car. I especially love how original the car looks and that it has that great 3-on-the-tree.
    Is there any way that you might be able to do a driving video with this one?

    Wow, that's a coincidence, I've just reviewed a 1955 trade card set that features the 4-door Bel Air. I thought I recognized that distinctive looking hood :) I'll upload the vid tonight. It features a few US cars, along with the usual British motors. I wish I had more coincidences like that :D

    There must have been a huge price gap from a Chevy to a Ford in 1953. Otherwise I can't understand how Chevy sold a single car that year.

    In '53 Chevys 6 made more hp and torque than fords flathead so there ya have it.

      Christopher NOPE !!!!! Not that engine !!! Thats a 216 oil dipper with the 3 speed and a whopping 108 HP !!! I had one, a 53 REAL Belair 2 dr Hardtop and I swapped out the old knocking 216 for 1956 235 cu in I got from a friend that swapped it out of his 56 chev Belair HT for a 265 cu in V8 and I also swapped in a 235 in a 52 2 dr coupe !!!!
