I saw Tim on FastAg's channel wearing one of your shirts! I say it often, there's a reason why farmers and ranchers fill a pew on Sunday. We are totally dependent on God providing weather or a way through difficult times. I've been through several draughts but I have to say that the farm economy has been much more challenging over the years. In either case, I'm thankful to have a place to find peace, in fellowship with the Lord.
Congrats on the move! Growing up on the farm is the best experience a kid can have! Be a great time save for you as well, now only if they can get you some fiber internet…………😂
I know quite a few people that set their folding corn heads on trailers for winter storage. We will also trailer it for farms that are greater than 15-20 miles away.
Hello again Andy Was watching the video and noticed the big assed "Rooster Cruiser" Western Star quietly lurking in the back corner....Is that a new addition for the tank?😮 You have some splaining to do Lucy.... Steve
Glad you're getting some moisture. Do spray anything for Deer vegetation? They play a number on your yield. Enjoy your videos, always informative. You seem very knowledgeable and on top of things. Definitely look you up at the next one. You all stay safe!!
is there protein quality or anything like that for corn (like there is for wheat) or do you just have to look out for moisture and yield and you are good
If the corn is headed to a food-grade processer, which most here don't do, there is a slight premium for higher test weights, but there isn't any premium for specific nutrient contents.
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always, Andy!!!!
Same to you!

Keep it between the rows
Thanks... you too!
Congrats on the move and the rain! Fingers crossed the rest of the season goes great.
Videos are a month behind. Now it's burning up again but it's close to the end
@@agger838 Thanks Andy!

The internet service is the only downside. That city fiber is hard to beat!!!
SO glad to hear good news!!
Most people that have folding headers don’t have them sitting on trailers. Nor use trailers. That’s one of the many pluses of a folding unit

Haha that doesn't belong to the farm. It is one of my uncle's trucks.... not our style!

No we don't. We may have to in the future on some farms!
5" of rain? That's a flood! We had .01 inch all summer. (central TX)
Where did Katie move too ?
Alaska!
Trippy, good to see you and the dogs at the farm. Keep it between the rows 🚜🌽🌽
That's the plan!
always good videos. Thanks
Glad you like them!
So, what’s the over & under on Marty helping a neighbor cut corn this year? It was my favorite part of harvest season as last year
Every year is different... you never know what kind of trouble we will get ourselves into!
@@aTrippyFarmer I KNOW, harvest with Marty always seems like herding cats. He never stops moving & it’s hard to keep up
Glaad yyou had rain good news
Agreed!!!
I am so glad you got rain! Hope the rest of the season will be going well too!
We are lucky to have received some!
Where abouts in Michigan. Don't tell me the Upper Peninsula.
South Haven
Did you get a chance to try any salmon fishing. I live in Ludington it's a big deal around here.
@@randybedker1584 no we didn’t do any of that. My dad and I went out about 10 years ago on a salmon charter boat. It was a blast!
Good Irish name for the dog "Murphy" Greetings from Dundalk, Ireland.
We think it's a perfect fit!

Glad you got rain. We still are in the worst drought in Central Minnesota in my lifetime.
The rain really stitched this season back together for us, but it is still super dry. There is no way that yields aren't underwhelming!
We want Kathy, we want katey
I'll let her know!
What is the latest on your new grain bin ? Will it be ready for harvest ?
Yes!
When are they starting on the new grain bin?
Next video!
Been praying for rain for you.
We appreciate that!
