We kinda just made it up as we went, Haha. ..also surprised it worked out as perfect as it did. The bars weren't that expensive, so taking an L wouldn't have been too bad. Would have just thrown the old ones back on and had a beer. 🍻💯🐭
Not at all! ..Good question ✌️💯🐭 ..and you can still slide them on the fly to fit your riding mood, I mostly keep them in the middle. When I had the stock bars I just kept them as close to me as possible. Having more options is a big plus with these new bars. Thanks for watching! ✌️😁
I think your buddy’s got the Can Am ‘Cross’ bars the wrong way up. They’re supposed to fit like a regular looking handlebar. I think you’d find the holes were in the right place then ..

I'm same height, 5'11 (..and 3/4, 👌). Did you angle the bars the same way I did before you drilled the holes for the controls?

Id rather spend 5x the time measuring before drilling. But yeah, pilot hole is only to allow the bigger bit to go in the right spot.
