It really is silly that they didn't just split vindicator's trait effects. Giving it a pvp/wvw split (where it *was* overpowerforming to all hell), and a pve split (where it wasn't) would've been fine.
Was even more silly the assumption of that would affect significatively outzide of zergs. PvE build is almost as strong as before, and power PvP and WvW roaming builds doesn't even run that trait. But yes, they have should split the changes.

Loved it. Specially since both Teapot and Nike DNT mocked Vindicator and I argued with the later one that the cele builkd was still fine and probably still king of the hill at OW PvE since the nerf was minor and reacted histerically calling it "eviscerated, bad, a shadow of its forming self" and calling me "delusional" and "brain damaged", while I provided proofs of how strong still was vs bounties, hero points etc. lmao! I hate whe people make assumptions without checking the facts and then go radio silent due being dogmatic.

Thanks for the builds, are they using celestial because it's the best in each case, or is the primary point here that you can use the same gear across multiple builds? Ie, are there BETTER stats to use for vindicator vs herald vs renegade?

I'v got a really fun Mace/Sword - Sword/Axe, Shiro/Mallyx core build i like to roam around open world pve with. Geomancy/Doom/Hydromancy/Mischeif sigils across weapons. Full Grieving stats with Berserker rune. Akeem or Ice Relic.
Corruption 3/1/1, Devastation 1/3/1 (or 1/3/3 if you like the minor life steals from Battle Scars), Invokation 1/2/3. Always remember to swap legend before weapon, but do so milliseconds apart and you explode aoe. Phase Trav, Mace 2, Swapbomb, Sword 2, and you'll kill pretty much any veteran or lower. Going pack to pack for drops and watching the shiny explosion is fun. But its survivability is low and depends on your kiting capability.
I personally think Carnivore is strong enough that for Power untamed, you can use the +25% damage grandmaster easily now, even for difficult solo. You don't really need the healing after unleash as much anymore.
That's the great thing about untamed. It's so strong and has so many sustain options available to it, you can play it your way. It has great baseline sustain if you run maces as a swap to begin with, so you can solo champions with it fairly easily going all out on damage. I favor sword/axe for my swap and marksmanship, utilizing the synergy between relic of the midnight king, moment of clarity, and remorseless to generate might and vulnerability and just blast out massive damage. But I could swap marksmanship for either nature magic or wilderness survival to gain more sustain or I could keep marksmanship and swap Ferocious Symbiosis for Restorative Strikes. It also works with most weapons, so I could use hammer, axes, or even longbow. It all works!

Hi Lord Hizen, wich one is better and why for a long range condi mechanist: double pistol, grenades or shortbow?
pistols, because shortbow isnt condi.
all the condi damage you saw in the previous video is from the jade mech.
shortbow is only maintain all boons uptime to you and jade mech and 25 stacks of vulnerability to deal more damage.
@@LordHizen And what about spamming grenades to inflict bleed? is it even a thing or deals lower damage?
@@Sevastokratos i tried grenades in solo scenario, the damage is almost the same but the DPS rotation to achieve that damage is more intense compare to shortbow and mace/pistol mechanist builds.
Thats why i didnt promote grenades for open world especially for new players.
You should give Sword Mace power untamed a shot.
the sword ambush skill with Carnivore will lifesteal nearly 7K and pairs very well with offhand mace. The stun on Mace 5 will then let you hit the sword 2 skill for the most dmg it can

Could you add the Crystal Oasis champ bounty Butch in your build showcases? I'd love to see your experience soloing Butch Bounty. I can never solo that bounty cuz of the ungodly amount of baby moas that Big Black Moa summons to fight with him. That damn BBM summons over 100 baby moas at least that's what it always looks like which makes it difficult for me to solo. I know you can solo Butch but I'd still love to see it as I've never managed to do it solo even with the help of your builds.
Yep, I haven't seen anyone soloing that one and my attermpts were always way out of time and barely surviving or just dying. I think that that one and the rabbit in Desert Highlands must be (almost) unsoloable (the rabbit isn't hard to kill, but spents so much time fleing away that it takes too much to kill taht little basterd).

I have to try that bounty again since one of the main reasons it was that hard to kill was due untagging him made the cleave damage unable to hit Butch since there were so many minions around... The tactic of moving to bait Butch and retag him again could work with other builds; I have to try it.
It took me awhile to realise you were in fact, shanking THOSE frogs in the verdant brink. I thought it was pretty nice of Anet to nerf Mace damage but not Mace implacability. So literally nothing about Mace/Mace untamed's playstyle changed at all. You still facetank everything with stab while bonking. Except now you have to bonk for slightly longer(?). Wait a minute... I get to do more of my favourite activity for a bit longer? I think I can even argue it's a buff.

Lord what about using sword/warhorn instead of mace/warhorn for power untamed? Sword ambush has a daze and if you use the new chak pet instead of jacaranda he also dazes+lightning field which can become a dazing strike through sword 2 and 3, this would get another 4 ways to proc carnivore and sword has more damage than main hand mace.
So the set would be sword/warhorn + mace/mace.

It is good that Revenant is still great for damage and sustain. My only problem is that I don't like mace and axe. I want power builds to have decent damage and sustainability for solo champions, but arenanet won't allow that.
Power Vindi with gs + swords is my fav OW PvE build but sadly is not even halgf as goof as the celestial build. I'm still happy since can play cele in PvE and run power in PvP and some roaming (yet at roaming cele is still stronger).

the Secrets of the Obscure expansion unlocks weapon master training which lets you use all elite spec weapons without being restricted to their spec.

Warrior still playable?
Power Bladesworn is strong but hard to play because charges most of the damage in the Dragon attacks so you have to known very well the fights to not miss; also if you go for Immortal Dragon you have great sustain but less damage and no cc, whereas Unyielding Dragon is stronger and has cc but much lower sustain. The celestial Berserker build is maybe a tad weaker but has more sustain and is easier to play.
Was no reason for vindicator boon extend to be stripped, split pve/wvw/pvp skills apart. Cal and Roy are useless class dev's, buff their mains f over the rest.
Probably was due in WvW large zerg meta the the boon ball with 4 support x squad with Vindi was near unkillable. But I don't think the changes will affect the meta, anyway (in the sense that even if Vindi is replace the combo will still be 4 suppots + 1 dps).

There’s no such thing as balance team.
The game has very good pvp! However, if you have a high IQ and win very easily, you will be accused of using a program and you will be suspended lol, You cannot press too quickly with speed or repeat competitive pvp too much lol, and there is no way to prove otherwise. what they talk about is. end lol

Short bow is super fun to play; you can stay on sb most of the time except gainst foes with reflection as Tamwey or the Legendary Bandi Executioner...
