You guys were the first paranormal show I'd watched that I never doubted. Then somewhere online I heard that the show is faked and I learned a good lesson. All it takes is 1 bad apple to cause doubt, but requires multiple deceased faces in many different places to convince ppl once again. Why do we give so much credence to the naysayers, yet repeatedly force salt of the earth, experienced investigators to prove themselves to us again and again? Great episode, I love Most Haunted! I agree with Karl and Darren; I would most definitely NOT want to be on an elevator that stopped between floors. That would be terrifying! Also: Glen is a cutie pie.

i got stuck twice in an elevator not half as historic as that one..its not a good feeling..that was awesome..great great viewing and had my headphones on to catch the sounds..it was a happy night for me!! Thank you team!
Incredible! The most absolute fascinating occurrence in the lift blew my mind. I have never seen a requested quested lift breakdown in my life! The beauty about it is that it wasn't overloaded with all of you. 😉😏 Please don't stop making these documentaries, because they are the best of the best in evidence out there! Got to be honest, it’s a lift from the 1920’s and I agree with Glen, it’s more than likely a very well timed coincidence. It’s like saying an old Alfa is haunted because it breaks down 😂 however, the door knocking, the toilet flushing and the voice phenomena that Darren caught was very interesting and not easily explainable by even sceptical standards! I wonder if it was saying Ask rather than Ass, as in ask the right questions you’ll get a response. You never know though, maybe whatever it was just hadn’t taken a high opinion of all three present at the time, especially since it’s known Karl and Stuart are purposefully disrespectful pre-investigation in an attempt to coax activity! Enjoyed this one though and it’s a beautiful hotel, would love to stay sometime!

This could also be why the lift later stops. Old electrics (capacitors etc.) which log the 'S' as a STOP which only clears once the lift is moving. Just a thought....
After years of watching this show i still don't understand the nature of the afterlife, as much as I do definitely believe there is. After living with my nana for most of my life i could always smell strong pipe smoke in the room, I'm now convinced it was my grandad more so because the same thing was mentioned on this show years ago. I very much enjoy watching the show. The most annoying part in this entire episode was the entire lift part. What would you expect for an old lift to do when your putting different weights in an out and going up and down more times in a few minutes than it gets used in an entire day.

The other day I could smell burning again in the house but nothing was on or alight this happens every now and then when I’m on my own what does this mean also see silloutes of feet walking along front room floor always again when on my own I can’t tell anyone or they think if lost the plot
So Yvette, what would you have done if ALL of you were in the lift like you wanted, it stopped halfway through like you wanted, and the spirit left (as it did in the end)? Would the next set of paranormal investigators find 'your' spirits?
Interesting fact, my sister got married in Ruthin castle, me and my sister were in the lift on the way down to walk down the isle and that lift broke down 😂🙈 was not as funny at that time

I don't like the split screens. It's fine when they are walking around and nothing going on, but when they are in a room, it's distracting and can't see anything.
I love the show and always have but Yvette has got to stop with the so-called I'm not psychic but lines that she's using the reason a lot of us stopped watching some of the old episodes was 4 people like Derek Acorah who we know were full of shit but you guys are rocking it on TH-cam would love to see some 360 camera action going on as well that way you could catch anything from any Direction and anytime
