Code not working 😢
If you hard wired the video doorbell is draining battery faster.
My solutions for hard wired is
Use transformator of ezviz.
And install on 12 v 20 va is 1.7 ampere this almost enough to maintain the battery level.
Important is to start with full charged battery.
If use 24 v with 30 va is 1.25 ampere.
Ezviz must make a better transformator for Doorbells with battery its better to have 2 ampère to maintain battery level
can you give the feedback to ezviz?
Nice video
thnx mate
Nice review, congrats!
How well has the solar panel powered the doorbell? Does it seem like a necessity to have it set up where it gets a certain amount of sunlight? (Maybe I missed a comment on this.)
Looks awesome
Can you change the sensitivity of the motion detector?
I live on the x1 bus route and busy pedestrian route.
You can blank out zones on the app so it doesn’t pick up high traffic areas
@ItsSamuelJones I'm very tempted, love the solar panel
What’s the difference between all the models they look the same on the website and it isn’t too clear. HP3 vs CP3 vs EP3
Also can you view the camera on the echo show?
HA integrated?
Nope.... It does show up, but forget about an RTSP-feed in Frigate.... Looks like EZViz is going down the same road as a lot of other products have, and limiting the usage outside their own ecosystem over time....
Right now I'm just having a few entities that give me a very small, unusable set of features in HA. (Not even the last snapshot is available, unless I remove encryption of the video, and then the URL of the snapshot will give a forced download (over an unsecured connection, just ssl) so you can't even display that in a HA card....
I'm not that positive, in terms of ability to integrate into HA. Most likely will swap this one out in a couple of months, for something that does have a RTSP or ONVIF feed I can actually do my own thing with.
