That entire sequence was incredibly dumb. The yellow player shouldn't have passed and shouldve run out the clock, leading to the steal which ended in the questionable half court shot. Just dumb all around but it worked out in the end.
The whole sequence is so dumb. First, the player in yellow who has the ball in the start of clip shouldn't have passed. She easily could've tried to wind down the clock. Second, the player who got the steal should passed to her open teammate to guarantee the bucket, as she had a open layup, or if she really wanted to shoot, why not set her feet at the 3 point line and take a normal shot. She got really lucky with that shot, and easily could've been the reason her team lost.

As a fan of basketball, I definitely appreciate the skill of these ladies. That being said, this video is the EXACT reason why they don't get paid (although, the fact that they earn a good salary playing a sport for a living should not be lost on anyone. They are still extremely lucky to make a life playing a game just like NBA players and any other pro athlete) like NBA players. Nor will they ever draw the same crowds or excitement if they don't consider lowering the rim and those other measures people have suggested to make their game and their product much more exciting.

For a league that has NEVER turned a profit, the fact that someone in this league can make $220k+ is pretty extraordinary. For other businesses who’ve never turned a profit, you know what their employees make??? NOTHING
You don’t have to enjoy watching these women play but why put them down for doing something they’ve worked hard for and love? Obviously men games are going to be much more fast pace and more dunks etc due to their physical advantage but that doesn’t disregard that these women put in just as much effort. And to address the fact people are complaining that there is women who are 6’7 and can’t dunk yet there’s men who are 6’0 and can, men can jump much much higher than women and often have longer arms even if the woman is taller. Also you’re all so quick to point out mistakes the women make and make fun of them, yet when an nba player does something stupid you act like it didn’t happen. Don’t put anyone down for doing something they enjoy and take pride in no matter who they are or what they’re doing, it really ruins people’s mental health x

Some of these woman are 6 foot 8 how tf can you be 6 foot 8 and not dunk or barely be able to dunk at this point you just gotta reconsider the existence of the wnba. Even worse these highlights or hall of fame worthy plays literally occur regularly even in my previous high school basketball tournaments regularly its just sad at this point. If they kept quiet and we're grateful to be making a very good income 100k for having ability comparable to amateur high school kids there would be no problem but then they had to use their small brains and complain about lebron making millions when hes a milion times better and brings in a milion times more eyes and money to the leauge.
