- Ran Takahashi Had a Horrible Injury... And Then This Happened !!! Yesterday a volleyball match was played between the volleyball team Japan and Italy. We had a chance watching fantastic and dramatic volleyball match. One detail will be remembered by everyone from this match. Young Japan player Ran Takahashi was injured at the start of the fifth set.
That was terrible news for everyone. He was out of the game and everyone thought the match was over for him. But he surprised everyone and came back after a few points and brought his team the victory by making the match point by Ran Takahashi.

This is what i'm afraid of whenever ran spikes he is full of energy, so powerful, fast, and high which is great but because of that he usually gets too close to the net and his posture usually a little bit bend, that why his leg stuck in the net and makes him lose his balance. Luckily he didn't get seriously injured from falling right on his back, please be safe Ran 🥰

@@gutstheman65 I’m guessing cuz he uses a lot of power and especially momentum, his legs just naturally kick out in front of him. The outside on my team does the same.

7:54 i love how the japanese team transitions from defense to offense - libero and setter advance forward past the 3 meter line while the wing spikers and middle blocker go back - all in sync!

The crowd was also cheering for Italy! You can hear it in the first clip, the audience were shouting “ITALIA!”. Very appreciative PH Crowd. 🇮🇹🇯🇵🇵🇭

We're not just fans for the clout or trend or hype.
If you see our side, four of us out of 7, we are all crying after seeing what happened to Ran.
We are literally worried and concerned. We were hugging each other. :'(

We hate getting injured and so as to any other athletes. We also cry for our local players, not just volleyball players but to any athletes.
From the last PH Sea games hosting, even if the event is not as big as basketball/volleyball.
Athletes falling from the bars in gymnastics, you'll hear the crowd shouting "are you okay?", "oh my gosh" and "Go! Go! Go *insert the name of the country"
That's just how we are. We are very expressive in our cheers whenever we watch events ^_^

i love how the philippines celebrated the points of japan! I hope Ran is okay though, even if he stepped again in the court after a bad fall... anyway, cheerio japan! That winning block and the reaction of the filos, it's like japan won the VNL Finals lmao.

I don't know when was the last time I enjoyed watching any kind of sports but I wished I was there watching this match live. Japan is really awesome. Great sport, great showmanship.

He wowed me how good he plays, but it terrifies me when he start to jump and spike. I witnessed how he fell down, luckily, nothing serious at all. He even score after and did the monster block to win the match. Still, need thoroughly check up to avoid future complications. Ran Takahashi, one of the greatest players. He is.
