This movie low key disappointed me like David Cross didn't come back as Ian after they redeemed him in part three, never cared for Bella Thorne, didn't care for dollar store Nick Robinson and his mama. I'll give this movie this, Dave actually adopting the Chipmucks got me to smile cause we all knew especially the old cartoons that Dave was like their father.
According to NBC News while filming Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: ChipWrecked, David Cross didn't think he needed to be present for the week of filming onboard a Carnival cruise ship, since he's unrecognizable in the pelican suit anyway. Director Mike Mitchell and the other producers agreed that a stand-in could fill in for him during that part of filming, but a particular producer he singled out disagreed. David had to pay a huge fine of $150,000 for making this public information. Angered over the fine, David appeared on Conan where he declared ChipWrecked to be the most miserable experience he ever had in his professional life and encouraged people to not support the movie. This damaged his career. David was clearly irritated that his work with the Chipmunks had earned him more money and fame than whatever ideas he had in his head. He issued an apology for his outburst the next day confirming that Janice Karman did not mistreat him. Regardless of the controversy, ChipWrecked earned a profit of $342 million dollars worldwide and $55 million dollars in DVD/Blu-Ray Disc sales. Ian Hawke, the chief record executive turned screenwriter was written out of Alvin and the Chipmunks 4: The Road Chip. I’m annoyed tho that the chipettes were basically removed from the film except from the start and end, when after squeakquel and chipwrecked they became established main characters, this isn’t a cartoon series, these are films they should’ve stayed smh
And also incredibly sad as well as the way alvin and the chipmunks the road chip ended well done as well compared to some other movies so we may not see a 5th one and see alvin and the chipmunks at the theaters ever again🚫 compared to some other movies
I'll admit I do wish we had gotten a little bit backstory on their parents. And they seen them again. Alvin and Simon and Theordore's parents that would have been good. But I do like the ending it's sweet.

Last time Billy released a chipmunk video I was fighting for my life with a virus (similar to the flu) that I had since Christmas Eve, so I missed out on all the winter holidays this year 😂 now I’m back to normal on January 1st 😭😭😭 When Billy told me to drink water during the chiprecked video all I had was Dasani and a scratchy throat so I hesitantly downed a whole bottle and gagged five minutes later.
Let me tell you now water is not ALWAYS the solution. I had a stomach bug 2 times one year and each time when i tried to drink water among other liquids and i ended up hurling it back into my bowl. Another time back in 2018, during my senior year, I had terrible migraines which I soon found out was related to a tumor near my cerebellum. But at the time I didn't know what a migraine actually was I thought I was just having headaches. So when I told my mom she told me to drink more water. So I tried to drink a bottle whenever a migraine came but I ended up hurling it back out.
Fun Fact: They actually shot the New Orlean’s scene in downtown Conyers, Ga. right up the street from my house when I use to live there. I remember hearing “Uptown Funk” at night and I was wondering where that was coming from. A few weeks later I saw in the church bulletin that they shot the movie there. I was so upset that I missed them shooting that scene and I was so close to them. I really wish I could have seen the dancers! 😭😭😭😭

Honestly, I had a whole different idea for the fourth film that may seem out of place, but hopefully you guys will like it. In my version, it will be a film following the events of the third film. The Chipmunks and Chipettes are back in school doing what they do best, and enjoying the time they have together, but Alvin is feeling under the weather. After the whole thing on the island, he suddenly reverts back to what he was when he was little. Shy, and anxious. Particularly around the Chipettes and the other kids in school. He sees what his desire for his idea of fun has done to the family, and feels guilty. One day, Alvin is invited to a Christmas party after the last half day by Brittany and Ms. Miller. However, when Alvin starts getting anxious, he shoots off like a jackrabbit up a hill causing Brittany to get her feet dirty. Alvin sees her in anger, and tries to suck it up and come with them, but he can’t face his shyness and runs again, resulting in Dave having to come and get him while Dave stays with Simon and Theodore at the party. This is where we start to learn more about Alvin’s character from flashbacks from when he was a young kid who craved for attention and was hyperactive, but he didn’t know how to naturally express it. His shyness and quirks were obstacles he fought to keep hidden for years. He’s an entertainer. And entertainers want to live in a world where their problems can stop haunting them. Seeing the anger in Brittany’s eyes was nothing new to him, but it was the fact that there was no laughter to help him get back up. And therefore, if there’s no smiles, he feels as if he’s going to die. He also begins to think about his and his brothers’ mother Vinny. He thought about all the things she taught him in order to be a real gentleman. And at this point, he needs it. Early on, it’s established that Alvin is obsessed with New York and surprisingly had never been there while on tour before. He thinks to himself, “Maybe I can relive the past if I experience the king of Hollywood film locations.” Like in Home Alone 2. Also, he remembered that Dave was taking he and his brothers to Miami for Christmas. And the Chipettes were coming with. He knew it wasn’t going to be fun, and decides that at midnight, when everyone is asleep, he would runaway to the big apple to live a life he desired to relive. It’s a story where Alvin learns to be more open about his feelings to others when they care about him instead of running away from them, and the Chipmunks and Chipettes learn to look at the world through his perspective and be respectful about the good things he’s done. Especially Brittany. A story about finding Alvin in the biggest city in the world. And Alvin wanting to feel loved.
I really like this idea as a movie! I wouldn’t put this as a final film but it would help explore the characters a lot more especially Alvin. The Home alone references also would’ve made some really good jokes for the film as well.

Actually I really loved this movie (sure it has flaws like I wish we had more of The Chipettes, Bella, and I wish we had Ian in here) the music was some of the best and to be honest- the song at the end was one if not my favorite. It's just so sweet and super good, overall I think this was a great way to end it! Also dude love your shirt and actually I had a lot of stuff (especially stuffed animals) growing up and that is one of them- well until my Mom got rid of it because it was too noisy! 😆 Anyways I can't wait for more Content from you and I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and healthy Billy!

Talking about picking a lock, in my school the janitors ALWAYS lock the bathrooms that are right by the band hall because that’s where kids vape the most since it’s far from the rest of the staff, the rest of the bathrooms are by the main hallways. I was sitting by the band hall since band is my first period and I had to use the restroom so bad I knew I wouldn’t make it to the other side of the school so I pick locked door to the bathroom. 😂

I just remembered how the ending of this movie made me feel, happy and joyful, yet sad that the entirety of the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise has ended. Also I don't know about you Billy, but I've seen this Actress (37:02) in a series called The Vampire Diaries.
As someone who works in healthcare I can tell you that arfter a whole day of wearing it you will forget you still have your stethoscope on sometimes, and a lot of hospitals with still make staff carry a pager especially when on call because the service range on them is better than a cell phone

Underrated one! I think the music moments were just as if not more memorable than in the other films tbh so it has that going for it!

Talking about picking a lock, in my school the janitors ALWAYS lock the bathrooms that are right by the band hall because that’s where kids vape the most since it’s far from the rest of the staff, the rest of the bathrooms are by the main hallways. I was sitting by the band hall since band is my first period and I had to use the restroom so bad I knew I wouldn’t make it to the other side of the school so I pick locked door to the bathroom. 😂

As someone who works in healthcare I can tell you that arfter a whole day of wearing it you will forget you still have your stethoscope on sometimes, and a lot of hospitals with still make staff carry a pager especially when on call because the service range on them is better than a cell phone
