‘Wife’? ‘Wife’? Have you seen how many women today are even aware of the rights of the husbands? 😂 the women are all scholars when it comes to the obligations the husband but when you tell them the obligations of the wife, they will faint and say ‘oh I never heard of that, let me research and circle back’ (if that even).

Women will behave within the boundaries that are set. Clearly in those situations, the boundaries weren't set by the men in their lives. If boundaries are not working, those brothers need to move on and find someone else.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “No people controlled by a woman will succeed.” (lā yufliḥ qawm tamlikahum imraʾah)
The husband must teach her the proper beliefs of the followers of the sunnah and remove every innovation from her heart that she might have listened to. And he must make her fear God if she is being lax in matters of religion. -Abū Ḥāmid al-Ghazālī
Al-Hasan said: “Surely any man who begins to follow his wife’s desires will be thrown into the Fire by God.” (wa-llāhi mā ʾaṣbaḥa rajul yuṭīʿ imraʾatihi fīmā tahwā ʾillā kabbahu allāh fī al-nār)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever is a slave to his wife (obeys her desires) is ruined.”
Women’s trickery is powerful, and their evil is widespread. (fa-ʾinna kaydihinna ʿaẓīm wa sharrihinna fāshi) [“kaydihinna ʿaẓīm” is an allusion to Qur’an 12:28] -Abū Ḥāmid al-Ghazālī

There is a dispute among the scholars about the length of the beard and about trimming it as it mentioned in sharh sahih muslim of imam nawawi. The companions and the 4 imams agreed that shaving the beard is haram, but they disagree about the length . Some say less of a fist , some about a fist , some it depends on the attention of the person which it could be haram etc.... But to trim the beard because of a wife asked is definitely haram because of wrong attention .

Wife?? This is a simple rule in fiqh Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
There is no obedience to the creation (if it entails) the disobedience of the Creator.
(Sahih ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 4568 and Musnad Ahmad, vol. 1 pg. 131)
Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (rahimahumallah) have also recorded the Hadith in question with slightly different words:
Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “…There is no obedience to anyone in sinful acts, obedience is only in meritorious acts”

You should beautify yourself for your wife but in a halal manner, just as she beautifies herself for you. If you ask your wife to shape her eyebrows, this is not permissible even if beautification is. There are rules, and then there are exceptions to the rules.

    Al Quran:
Do not make a thing haraam when Allah has not made it Haraam.
There is no verse in the Quran that says that we are to keep a beard or not!
It is a cultural thing and in fact makes sense in a hot, desert climate to keep a beard! Firstly it protects your face from the harsh Sun and sandstorms. Secondly, it saves on water, a precious resource!!
Even the enemies of Rasool kept a beard!! Pagans, Jews and Christians too.
