Thank you for this I have so much breast milk in my freezer since my son passed away it hurt so much to let my milk dry up and I can’t bring myself to throw this supply away it’s a healthy way I can hold onto our bond thank you so much for sharing this how to
It’s so heart breaking to read that about your loss. God bless you and the family, to give you strength to get through the difficult times. Sending lots of love over....
I loved your video and the transparency; as a mom who (with both of my 2 kids) went through and is still going through ppd I just wanted to let you know how awesome you are and that I hope you are feeling a little better 🥰🧡 Keep doing awesome natural things for your family ! Great work!
Thank you ! I’m doing much better my baby is getting so big now almost 3. I can honestly say I’m still dealing with a little bit ppd but so much better than before when he was tiny. Thank you for the support.
Omg maybe this is something you can continue to do! I happened upon it cuz of this thing I am putting together with a friend...I’ll message you separately omgomgomg what an interesting intersect love you
How long do you have to whip the milk until it’s more firm? Mine separated after pouring into the jar and maybe the portion not right it’s very oily not absorbing into skin that well
I’m going to try and make this, but with grape seed oil. Can I ask which of the lotions you pictured at the end was with the coconut oil? The whiter one or the yellow one? Thank you in advance!
Hi here is the link to the oil I used. Also I did the amount of drops based on my preference for how strong of a scent I wanted it to be. Hi, do you have to wait for the lotion mixture to cool before putting into the fridge? Or do you put into the fridge immediately after you put the lotion into the glass containers? Thanks for the helpful video.
Bickie Choy hi I let it cool first and then placed them in the refrigerator for my own preference. Just know that once you refrigerate your lotion it can be a little hard especially if you use coconut oil. But if you leave it out for a bit it will soften again.
I have tried some organic lotions that have to much oil in them. Before I try it I'm just wondering if it is to greasy? Does it take forever to soak into your hands and when you touch stuff it gets all oily or does it soak in just fine?
Ashley Humphrey hi I haven’t noticed my hands or the baby having very greasy skin after using the lotion. It’s actually very soft and even after washing my hands afterwards I noticed my skin was still very soft.
D'yana Skye hi no you didn’t do anything wrong that happens when the coconut oil is cold. Once you let it get room temperature again mix it together and it will soften again and blend together. The oil sometimes separates from the milk.
@@homestylewithhini3300 when you mix it together again do you just mix it in the jar or have to heat it up when mixing ? Mine after done put into jar then it separated
@@kk0071990 you can try heating it up just a little bit so that it is warm, but once it cools especially the coconut oil it will separate but mixing it should help
Lynn Stefany hi I’m so glad your lotion came out good. Thank you for watching my videos. Please check out my other videos and also if you have some suggestions for videos that you would like to see me make. Let me know.
sue bunnygirl it’s completely up to you . Is this for your baby? If you think your baby’s skin can tolerate the honey that’s completely up to you. Let me know how it comes out.
Witchy_Pagan333 you have to find a wax that is for body skin. Check amazon if you type in wax for body lotion a lot of options will come up. Candle wax is not for the skin. Good luck!
brittanee Perry hmmm it may have been it was too hot. Was the milk freshly pumped or from the freezer ? Sometimes if it was frozen for more than 3 months and heated too hot it can spoil or have a weird smell.
Michell Loh hi! Did you use coconut oil or the olive oil? Also was your milk fresh or previously frozen I noticed that if the milk is frozen sometimes it won’t thicken . Also if you put the coconut oil lotion in the fridge it will harden as it goes back to it original form. Try using an electric mixer at a high speed to see if that will help it thicken. I hope it works for you. Also how much candelilla wax did you use?
@@homestylewithhini3300 thanks for quick reply. Yes. I'm using frozen milk, coconut oil & beeswax. No wonder won't thicken like yours. I'll try again next batch. Thanks for sharing
Emily Toral hi I would recommend one of the following: rosemary, lavender, lemon essential oils. Just a little bit because they can be very concentrated.
I wouldn’t add more unless you notice the texture is off. In that case you add maybe a little more of both oil and wax but no more than 1/2 a tablespoon until you get the consistency that you want.

jessica rushing I’m so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful way to keep your milk and bond of your baby, and you can use it on your own skin.
jessica rushing bless your heart! I’m so sorry for your loss.💖

Farrah Purpose thanks it’s good to be back
Love the transparency 🤍
I really want to try this for my son! He has eczema and I’m hoping this helps.
Hi thank you for sharing love this video, can I use this as nappy balm?
Titoru Tansey hi I don’t see why not. Let me know how it goes.
Thanks so much for the video! I just made some but did not have any scent to add to mine, can I add scent after it’s made?

Hannah Davis hi the lotion on the right (white) is the one with coconut oil. Grapeseed oil will be just fine too.
HomeStyle with Hini thank you!!
Hello how many drops of essential oil did you put and what brand?
Hi here is the link to the oil
I used. Also I did the amount of drops based on my preference for how strong of a scent I wanted it to be. Can you use extra virgin olive oil
Hi yes you can

Can it be frozen milk? Or fresh bm?
Lynn Stefany I have used frozen milk and fresh milk. I didn’t really notice a difference in the texture of the lotion with the two milks.
Do we have to add the bead things init
Desiree Allen yes that’s what helps it form into lotion.
@@homestylewithhini3300 ok.
Hey :) can i store it in the room temprature? Or can i get it out the refrigerator in the morning and back in the evening?
You definitely can .
I've always had issues with the breastmilk separating from the mixture -_- any suggestions?
Are you mixing it while it’s hot or once it’s cool ? I haven’t had this issue before but I wanted to see if I could help in some way.
Hi Hini, it's Bickie again. If we use coconut oil, should the half cup be of liquid coconut oil or half cup of hardened oil in the jar?
Bickie Choy hi I’m so sorry for the late response! It should be melted coconut oil.
i made the one with coconut oil and it got hard in the fridge & also the breast milk separated.. did i do something wrong ?
D'yana Skye hi no you didn’t do anything wrong that happens when the coconut oil is cold. Once you let it get room temperature again mix it together and it will soften again and blend together. The oil sometimes separates from the milk.

Hi sorry me again , u said tablespoon and then teaspoon and a half of the wax , which one is it :( I did the table spoon like the description above
Lynn Stefany hi I realized that after I posted the video follow the directions on the description area. Sorry about that.

Hi, do we have to add milk while it’s hot or wait for it to come down to room temperature??
Nijhum Tripathy you can add it in while it’s hot because you want to be able to whisk in the breastmilk to give the lotion that silky fluffy texture.
Hi, is it okay that i dont put the vitamin e oil? Can i just put virgin coconut oil instead?
sue bunnygirl it’s ok to not add vitamin e oil and only use coconut oil.
HomeStyle with Hini and can i add abit of honey? It would be okay right? 😊
sue bunnygirl it’s completely up to you . Is this for your baby? If you think your baby’s skin can tolerate the honey that’s completely up to you. Let me know how it comes out.
Do you prefer making with coconut oil or grapeseed oil
I prefer the olive oil or grape seed instead I like how creamy it stays once it’s cool
What kind of wax can you use??
Witchy_Pagan333 hi I used candeilla wax. It’s a vegan wax.
Okay so can I use like candle wax?
Witchy_Pagan333 you have to find a wax that is for body skin. Check amazon if you type in wax for body lotion a lot of options will come up. Candle wax is not for the skin. Good luck!
HomeStyle with Hini thank you hun 😍
did anyone else's smell like rotten milk when they went to use it ? did I mix the milk when it was too hot?
brittanee Perry hmmm it may have been it was too hot. Was the milk freshly pumped or from the freezer ? Sometimes if it was frozen for more than 3 months and heated too hot it can spoil or have a weird smell.

Can we use spoiled breast milk?
Emily Toral hi I wouldn’t use it. Sometimes it can change the texture of the lotion and the smell is somewhat off in my opinion.
HomeStyle with Hini Thank you! And what oils would you recommend using if I wanted to use it for the face but as to not clog the pores?
Emily Toral hi I would recommend one of the following: rosemary, lavender, lemon essential oils. Just a little bit because they can be very concentrated.
Hii me again, i think i added 6 oz instead of 4 should i add more oil and wax?
I wouldn’t add more unless you notice the texture is off. In that case you add maybe a little more of both oil and wax but no more than 1/2 a tablespoon until you get the consistency that you want.
Have you ever had the lotion go bad?
Shalee Von Kolen I have not. But I do store it in the refrigerator and usually usually it’s all used up within 2 weeks.
