I bought one of these in 2008 - it had 210,000 miles on it : while I didn’t drive it extensively, it never left me stranded on the side of the road - I recently was stranded in my 2018 BMW 330i as well as trouble with my 2009 Audi A4, they had 86,000 and 134,000: I also had an1989 Camry alltrac that ended up with 335,000: never any trouble: I just bought a brand new 2022 Corolla hatch, back to dependable Toyota - goodbye German cars!!

i bough a 1990 gts 8 months ago also with the system 10 audio speakers
sadly only the 2 in the back work now its down to one xD (its in very rough shape)

2.2 liter inline 4 cylinder, not 6. Sunroof, not a sliding shaded moonroof like current cars. We had a ‘90 bought new in December ‘89. FWD unibody. This is the lift back body style. Many thanks.

Yup! I really like this body style Celica and owned it's successor, a '95 Celica GT Liftback bought new in October '95. Mine was optioned similarly except no sunroof. I do believe this was Toyota at their very best, solid cars with incredible build quality and reliability! Sure it's no sportscar but could be a fun second car to own that should still be easy to own and maintain!
