My head canon with Lily is that the sickness was inflicted by Grief-Bringer after their battle. Also, random thought: what if in crystallized, we got an ending similar to the original x-men 97’ show, where Wu dies fighting the overlord and Garmadon becomes the ninja’s new master?
I’m happy we didn’t get Nadakhan back he honestly doesn’t need to return in my opinion I really wish we got the statue of Cole and Lilly and I wouldn’t have mind getting a bitter sweet ending for crystallized.
If I remember correctly, the Ninja would fail to stop Oni Lloyd but then Nya in her waterform (in this Version Nya never came back) came in, defeated Lloyd and then he becomes good again
honestly I like the ending that we got for crystalized, Lloyd losing control of his oni side is a sick idea, but ruling all of Ninjago is just a repeating idea and it kinda gets boring if it happens over and over again, idk just my opinion.
Interestingly, Cyborg Spider Harumi would have been very similar to what happened to Cyrus Borg, who became a Cyborg Spider for a time in Rebooted (another Season related to The Overlord)
I’m okay with what we got in Crystalized, yes, we needed more Oni Lloyd, yes Harumi being in love with Lloyd and her redeeming herself was sudden but if we had more time it would have worked and not as been controversial for the fans, but I’m perfectly fine with the Crystalized we have regardless of what could have been done better. Oni Lloyd being the finale villain instead of The Overlord kinda feels off and I’m glad they didn’t make Lloyd the finale villain.
