The only thing I’m going to say is that the crips started from the black panthers, which was a group of African Americans the policed the cops around the 50’s and 60’s. When the panthers fell apart, the crips were born. Later down the line violence and drugs got introduced, and then the bloods were born to provide protection against the crips. In this video you see the two having a sort of “dance competition” which makes it obvious that this was from a foreign country because anyone in the US that is aware of gangs wouldn’t do that. There’s a lot a depth and history to them, but basically since they’re rivals if you do the C walk in the wrong place and a Blood sees you, you’d get shot by them because it’s a lot more serious and violent than people who aren’t from the US think.
