That Fistbump from foundation to Jonesy was The Icing on the cake to this awesome event. I remember back on C2S6 when Foundation couldn’t trust Jonesy But when He said “I can take you to Geno” he gave him a chance and that’s what he exactly did. A true friend always keeps his promises and Jonesy did exactly that!
His name is actually John Jones. Jonesy is just a snapshot of him. Plus he never knew who the real Geno was and thought Gunnar was the guy in charge the whole time. He angrily exclaimed that he has been working for the I.O for 165+ years and did not know who Geno really was. Dr.Slone after realising this, roasted him berfore ordering Gunnar to kill him, Foundation, Imagined and Spiderman (Yes spiderman is canon in fortnite now).

The event was so well made, the animations were so smooth I may not be a video game designer but this was epic and its nice to know Jones kept his promise

This event is still the best one yet, just barely over the end of chapter 2. It’s part of what made chapter 3 season 2 so good. Please don’t do more fractures, do more collisions.
I disagree. Don't get me wrong, collision was cool, but I honestly prefer the events where we just sit and watch. Sure, that sounds more boring, but they just seemed more interesting.
Always love the Fortnite events, even if they're mostly on-rails, its just such a departure from the regular game in a fun and entertaining way. It really does feel like those roller coasters with the light guns
This event absolutely blew me away. The visuals, the interactivity, the music, all of it nearly took my breath away. Even the dialogue while we were waiting for it to start was fun to hear, and amusing to listen to. This was, without a doubt, the best Live Event in the history of Fortnite Live Events. I loved every second of it and I had goosebumps the whole time! No future Live Event will ever top this one, period. This was a perfect event to end off Season 2. I'm glad I got to experience it. It was so good and it absolutely blew me away!

Since the Mech wasn’t destroyed at the end of the event and it appears to still be on the island we might see it appear in another event next season. Maybe another Devourer from the ice moon could be sent to the island? This could also be where we see what the left arm on the Mech does, since it looks exactly like the top of the Visitor’s rockets. Weaponized rifts would be cool to see.

I honestly love the use of the In-Engine cutscenes instead of the pre rendered ones. The paradigm’s new design is awesome and looks really good, I hope the design is added as an optional style to the original outfit

There was so much pre-event dialogue-the banter between Origin, Jonesy and the Foundation was fantastic! “I think the windshield wipers can hold up for another hour.” XD The lo-fi music on the to be continued screen needs its own permanent soundtrack station on vehicle radios. (I personally throw on a lo-fi playlist on Spotify and play it through my PlayStation-it’s pretty nice to have a chill soundtrack while taking down IO guards). All in all, fantastic event! Go Voltron-er, MechaTeddy Force!
For the lofi, Epic put out a statement explaining that they are using new technology. Meaning a computor is producing it as its playing in real time, and no to sessions will ever be the same as each other... for the most part.

Man, I stayed up all night so I could play the event and I ended up falling asleep a few hours before it started. Anyways, seems like a lot of fun and I appreciate the devs putting in so much work and effort to create this masterpiece of a game!

Alright, this event and vibin season is where fortnite truly ended. The story ended here. Nothing else happens after. What happens through chapter 3 season 4 through now takes place in an alternate timeline, universe, or dimension where tim sweeny wanted his “metaverse” vision to come true and it happen. Thank you, Donald Mustard. For everything and to make the fortnite storyline more interesting and enjoyable for us. 😊
In "technical cases", most of us could say that Fortnite's story came to an "end" as a trilogy. Whatever the hell happened between Paradise and beyond could be actually considered as "what if scenarios" to the ones that are infuriated with what the storyline has become. Oh well, typical fortnite.

@@BiggestN well you see, every skin works with a common bone stucture, same for every skin. They don't have to animate every skin for the event. Moving bone system also works like this for emotes.
For my first ever in-game live event, I was hyped throughout this incredible event. From Peely saving our lives to the reveal of Darth Vader coming to the game, this was one of the best events hands-down.

The part when the Collider exploded is one of the most best fortnite live event scenes I've ever seen. The music and the effects we're on fire. Who knew we went from a short rocket live event to this. Bravo, Fortnite!
This event. THIS EVENT has got to be the BEST one ever made! from the incredible visuals to the outstanding sound design and oh god, THE MUSIC IS SOO GOOOD! it always kept me and my friends on edge, shaking from excitement especially for me as a huge Pacific Rim + transformers fan i cant imagine how they are gonna top this with the next live events. its so impactful to the story aswell because 1) the IO is finished with Slone's brutal death 2) Geno is revealed 3) Peely got his drivers licsense 9.7/10 event, my only issue that removed .3 points was that the mecha didn't slice through enough blimps with his sick energy sword and most of the blimps just stood there which is understandable due to budgetary reasons, but i still absolutely *LOVED* this event! please find a way to top this (just hiring Micheal Bay would be enough for me lol)

This felt like a worthy end to the IO's control of the island. I'm sure they'll be back, with Geno still out there, but going through the island just absolutely SLAUGHTERING them was so satisfying.

I actually liked this event a lot, to think the game came so far from 5 years ago to now, it's just amazing, it may not be the best event we ever had but it was still awesome

@@BiggestN well you see, every skin works with a common bone stucture, same for every skin. They don't have to animate every skin for the event. Moving bone system also works like this for emotes.
For my first ever in-game live event, I was hyped throughout this incredible event. From Peely saving our lives to the reveal of Darth Vader coming to the game, this was one of the best events hands-down.

@@markgomez8228 On the chapter 1 ending picture it shows the battle bus going. But in Chapter 3, the battle bus is going the other way. Also the sun is setting, which is probably a countdown to the final chapter 3 season

it always kept me and my friends on edge, shaking from excitement especially for me as a huge Pacific Rim + transformers fan
i cant imagine how they are gonna top this with the next live events.
its so impactful to the story aswell because
1) the IO is finished with Slone's brutal death
2) Geno is revealed
3) Peely got his drivers licsense
9.7/10 event, my only issue that removed .3 points was that the mecha didn't slice through enough blimps with his sick energy sword and most of the blimps just stood there which is understandable due to budgetary reasons, but i still absolutely *LOVED* this event! please find a way to top this

This felt like a worthy end to the IO's control of the island. I'm sure they'll be back, with Geno still out there, but going through the island just absolutely SLAUGHTERING them was so satisfying.
The way we entered through the lobby, I hope they use it in future events or someday add it for every time we go into a match
