Don't feel bad about that, you are just one person and have a lot of jobs in your shop, you didn't let anyone down, keep up the amazing videos and positive attitude 👍
Smart man. Say no when you should say no. It is diagnosed. You did them a favor to get them in a correct direction. And you are being honest and not holding the customer hostage. All good. Carry on. I am new here. I found a great channel to obsess on.
@@GICK117 Welcome! 😀 This channel is very new too haha Thank you for the kind words and I hope you continue to enjoy! Trying to get a new video out every Tuesday and Friday 👍
That is a huge job to do especially when you have that much work to do. I guess if you never ever slept you could get it all done! Nice snow on the fields though, I am on the west coast and we had a big wind as well.
@@rcdieselchannel yes Italy . I have got a 6610 and some years ago broken two teeths of mfwd clutch Different tractor but similar problem in your video I Was luck that no teeth broken in rangegear box ...
What is your thought on these newer JD tractors? I've been looking for a bigger tractor for our farm. After researching about the newer 8R's and all the emissions stuff I decide to stay away from them. Ended up finding a 5700h 8410 in really nice shape.
@@markhoogendyk879 From an operators stand point, the 8R is a nicer tractor to operate, nicer cab, nicer controls, although they sure don't start up like the older ones. The 8410 cab is not as comfy, controls aren't as nice amd the plastic upholstery is kind of crummy. From a repair standpoint, the 7R & 8R emissions are a nightmare and the general electrical can be enough of a problem as well. Splitting this 7R is about 3 times the work of splitting an 8000 series tractor. The 8410 you picked up is a much more solid tractor, far less electrical and the 6081 Engine in that 8410 is tried and true - solid solid engine. So in my opinion, your 8410 is a 2X better tractor. I personally think the 8000 series was the last of "the good ones". Thanks for the question! 👍
What province are you from? I do 99% of my own wrenching. But if I have a problem with my 6430 and need the computer hooked up I call a former JD tech who also went out on his own.
A very big Ouch! You could take on more work and then have to hire extra staff. That can create more headaches. Some times simple is best until your ready to change.
Yeah, it's tough finding good mechanics though. Before the pandemic, I had a shop with 6 employees, so we could put through a lot of work. That was great, but also a lot of headache! Thanks for watching!!

Those 7r tractors are absolute garbage
Yep. They always seem to be in for transmission issues at the shop I work at.
