@@theglasshalffull6958 there’s been rumors of “more powerful Switch hardware” since the switch’s inception and the only thing to come out of them is a model with better battery, the lite model, and the OLED model, and yet they still hold on to some glimmer of hope that “more powerful switch hardware” is coming out… yeah ok Will new hardware come out, of course… anytime soon, with how well the switch is still selling (just broke a 30 year old sales record, on track to surpass the PS4 and gameboy in sales and if the lifespan of the console is extended, could even surpass the DS and PS2 which would make it the bestselling console of all time, not to mention Furukawa is on record saying the switch was “in the middle of its lifecycle” just last year) and the support it’s still getting I highly doubt it, maybe another revision (switch OLED lite) but it’s not going to be next gen
I admire the dedication. I’ll forever love that series and perhaps if I feel the motivation I’ll finish up the series It does seem very anticlimactic to not review the very last season my bad
@@theglasshalffull6958 i'll be the first one to watch it if you ever do decide to get around to it. if not, well i guess i can always rewatch the other ones again
Indeed it will. Since Nintendo isn't using the lifespan of its Console half, I guess it'll use the handheld life span. I mean look at the DS, it was too good to be discontinued but they did so anyway, in 9 YEARS. Ig the switch has the same fate.
Well you could make the argument that switch is moreso a handheld than a home console so perhaps having a longer life makes sense in Nintendo’s eyes. My question now is whether they decide to call it the Switch 2 or the NEW nintendo switch lol
Whenever it’s coming, I don’t really expect a huge departure from the current Switch. I am hoping for some kind of Switch Pro/2 that is a lot more powerful but still portable. As someone who mostly plays portable it would be a really big adjustment for me to go back to a handheld and a home console.
I see what you mean. As someone who primarily plays on the TV to take away the portability factor doesn’t affect me too much but it’s absence will still feel felt. Can’t imagine how it would feel for people who mostly play on the go. I just hope Nintendo can find a way to make it more powerful as well
I mean I personally don’t have any issues with the motion controls, actually the motion controls for Splatoon work great (at least with the pro controller)
All logical thinking points to a continuation of the hybrid design. In terms of power, parity with current gen consoles isn't too important. Your iPhone has some wicked technology in it in terms of compact computing power, with something like the Steam Deck really showing how far the technology has come whilst still remaining financially attainable for the consumers. I reckon they will release something akin to the "Super Nintendo Switch" and go from there. Full backwards compatibility, keep the cartridge games, and keep the current state of switch online with its virtual console. This would be such a home run, and I hope they do it.
With how well the switch worked out for Nintendo, it's hard to see them completely changing up that hybrid format as of yet. And actually the "super nintendo switch" actually has quite a new ring to it
That’s the thing, the switch is such a good concept that would be a shame to leave it already. It could be a main factor as to why the switch is competing so well with Sony/Microsoft
For now I find it better that the switch stays because it's just universally appreciated, kind of like the wii. There are still people buying the console now so nintendo probably aren't pressurized to make another console, and with a game quality average like that I think it's better to stay with what works instead of making a bet. I had a wii u
Yea I see what you mean for sure. It's been one of the most consistently good selling consoles of the past few years so it's hard for Nintendo to just let that go in favour for something else entirely. However getting a much more powerful console would be very appreciated imo
Are y'all ready for a Switch 2/a new console or y'all still want a couple more years with the switch?
Definitely ready for a Switch 2🤘🏻
Definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result
I think “switch 2 diehards” may be insane
.. can you explain what exactly you mean?

if the switch is dead, how else will i play diamond and pearl
The ds right?
Emulator/ds or just play platnium
..just play it on the original DS or god forbid an emulator (nintendo might kill me if I say those words)
Platinum is superior for sure
Please don’t tell me you’re talking about the remakes 💀
I don't think the Switch is fully dead
It won't be dead for a while with games like Tears of The Kingdom coming out soon
I hope that the switch will live for a few more years
When do you think would be the best time to get a new console then?
@@theglasshalffull6958 3 years-4 years, the switch is fine

this title is what people say when they forget to charge their switch
also wheres the time travel and sword at
Lol true
Literally happened to me today before I uploaded the video lol
Bro is making a whole paradox💀. We'll have to wait and see bc only time will tell.
Nintendo’s future is gonna be more interesting than ever before depending on what they do next

Oh lord none of those. Switch 2 sounds good but I'd rather get a new console then a New Nintendo 3DS but in switch form.
bruh the switch wont die until 2027 in my opinion
10 years with the switch, I may not mind it that much but are you ready for that??

Look if most phone companies can make the same thing but better and just make the number higher than of course Nintendo can too
Damn so you think the switch is here to stay for a VERY long time?
Like come 2040 and we’ll have the switch 4?
@@theglasshalffull6958 yes and they will finnally add cameras and internet plans to play Splatoon 5 on the go
Yeah splatoon 5 sounds a lot cooler than Splatoon 4 anyway
The Switch ain't dead the internet exaggerates.
TH-camrs gotta exaggerate as well sadly
I just hope it will be able Motion Controls better so we can finally get a HD Port Remaster of the Metroid Prime Trilogy for it.
I mean I personally don’t have any issues with the motion controls, actually the motion controls for Splatoon work great (at least with the pro controller)
If totk is the last big switch game what about pikmin 4?
That's why I don't fully trust that tweet, but it may only allude to like 10 million+ titles for the switch

I think there just gonna make a switch 2 or a "New" Nintendo switch just like they did with the 3ds
Hmm that makes a lot of sense, what you think they’ll call it?
cant wait for the launch title of mario kart 8 deluxe deluxe on the switch 2!
And it’s gonna be full priced (but they’re bringing back toads factory so I’ll love it either way)
I can’t wait for Super Mario Odyssey Deluxe on the switch deluxe!
Honestly give me a world where I’ll get to explore island delfino and I’ll take it
I think it’ll be a 3DS-like. New console, new games, still release games for switch, just in minis.

does a new console mean better pokemon graphics?...hmm who am I kidding, probably not
