at 4.23, I have seen some performers just using side of first finger(on 4th fret) which saves the extra moves with the second finger. Just wondering which to practice, thank you for great tutorial btw.

There are many pieces of music that are far more difficult to play ,such as Bach's ' Chaconne ' or the Lute suits. Albeniz pieces are popular with guitarists but are difficult as are Sor and Giuliani - I could go on and on.
😂😂 Ha! ha! thats a life time of work and practice to play this great piece. I have not videoed it yet as it such a huge and complex piece even though I do play it at least once a week. There are 64 variations to the basic 8 bar theme.

Try both methods and pick the one that works best for you. I use the Tarrega fingering.
