That's good to know! On my 8700 I knew my battery was good, and the tractor still cranked slow in the cold, so I decided the starter must be getting worn out. I got a new starter, pulled it out, it hardly showed any signs of wear. I threw the new one in, it worked exactly the same. Next time it'll be getting an 8340 starter 👍🏻 It's no fun running out an extension cord and battery charger when there's work to do in the winter.
