I’m excited for this one because all my life (very young at the age of 20) I’ve been hooping in Mids or Highs, I didn’t realise that lows would make me feel faster and free. I’ve been following this channel for years and they influenced me to start hooping in lows. I’m very grateful and again, very excited for GT Cuts.
This shoe is the real deal!!! Aesthetically it looked great and I knew it had to have it immediately when it released and BOY IM SUPER PUMPED! it feels super low to the ground and light it makes you feel fast!! Very special feeling I haven’t felt in a while! Kudos Nike!
Chris I can't express how much I appreciate your knowledge on kicks. All those Alpha Project shoes were an absolute blast of nostalgia. The Flightposite in particular was THE shoe for me. Despite the popularity of Jordans, it was the Flightposite that got me hooked. I have an affinity for Nike Basketball sneakers til this day thanks to shoes like the FP/Alpha Project series.
It has so much tech inside that it makes me wonder if this was originally a Kobe shoe in development. Congrats on the clothing company. Looking forward to seeing more merch
Tried these on and fell in love. They feel amazing! So bouncey, light and visually look sick (in the white colourway). Haven't been so blown away by the feel of a bball shoe in a while too. Buying them tomorrow and keen as to test them on court!

Also, as an old dude, the last time I got excited about a hoop shoe was the AJ33, which I now hate (too tight, too heavy), but that was rectified with the AJ34, which I adore aesthetically (“Red Orbit” only) and it’s a fantastic shoe to hoop in on my surgically repaired ankle. You got me hype about the Puma Clyde Pro (?) and I’m now definitely hype for this new Nike shoe. Can’t wait for your product line. All the best.

I mean they always give you part of the whole. Now they finally placed everything in there so i get Chris’ excitement! Everyone who hooped in the flighposite, ultraflight, 2k3,2k4 era knows how much cushioning has declined over the past few years (save for KD’s and zoom turbos).
Someone mentioned it in the KD14 video I think. You can tell if a shoe is gonna be a “BAD BOY” by how he opens the box. I’m excited for these as well. I love how cushion is getting better and better.

I was pretty optimistic when I saw these, and after seeing Chris geek out about these I think these will probably be a must get. On nothing except looks alone these look like these could be a spiritual successor to Kobe’s. Can’t wait to see his thoughts after playing in them and seeing what the other two models bring!

Thought that the Cosmic Unity would be THE performer of the year for Nike and their flagship non sig performance model, but man, this trio of shoes may have them beat. It’s exactly what I’ve wanted Nike to do for the longest, and that’s inject someone life into their basketball line just like a decade ago back from 2009-2012. Don’t think we’ll ever get back to that much hype behind Nike basketball again, but I’m excited for these.
Been playing in nothing but Kobe’s since I was able to get back in the gym around October, but I think I’m going to pick these up and give them a try. Definitely looks promising!

I have definitely not had much excitement about any bball shoes in years, but I still try to stay in the loop. These on paper certainly give me the Rock type eyebrow raise in curiosity. I can’t wait to see the final thoughts on these, I may be finally grabbing something to get some runs in when I can
You always seem to be inline with my opinions. I don't buy a shoe without checking your review. The second I saw these about 45 days ago I was stoked. It was only a matter of time that these came into reality. I remember long time ago asking myself, why are basketball shoes so bulky and heavy in a sport that running is implemented alot? Why can't be have running shoes with basketball traction?!?...Few years later BANG!!! These literally look like running track shoes (with basketball traction?) I LOVE IT!!! 👍
I am genuinely excited for this line of nike basketball kicks. It definitely reminds me of the alpha project days and the Flight, Force, Uptempo designations for different styles of play. The GT Cut has my attention but I’m also curious about the Jump because of the pebax plate. The GT Run reminds me of the old Kevin Johnson shoe the Converse Run n Slam. The jump and the cut reminds me of the pro quick and pro strong. De’Aaron fox debuted the cut but I don’t think anyone has worn the jump yet. I would really like to see some big men wear the jump.
Funny how we were just talking about this - the excitement for a new shoe - haven't had that in a long time - but for nike to trailer in with 3 models - all basketball with all new tech..yeah - this is the thing. Also since this is the overseas model - this is the EP version- build on wider last - it fits me TTS - as well as it fits you TTS so, thats a good thing, not sure how the GR release pair will be but so far TTS for me on the EP version ( wide-foot comment)
