It probably would've gotten the Magic more prepared for the ecf. A big reason they looked so bad in the first game that series was they got past the Hawks so easily and didn't really have make any adjustments.
@@ChrisM07 factz...that's what a lot of the analysts said back then too. The Hawks were no match for Orlando and shoulda got swept. I think that Magic-Pacers series would went 6 or 7. Pacers were really good that year and actually beat the Bulls twice that year in the regular season, which they were the only team to do that and one win came without Reggie Miller playing
@@ChrisM07I also think losing Horace in game 1 vs the Bulls and eventually Nick Anderson and Brian Shaw in the series caused the sweep. Plus it was the Bulls. At best I think they’d have taken them 6 games but they were too young and naive. Penny and Shaq had to carry the load
@@finnbalor8021 factz. The loss of Horace killed any realistic chance of them making that series competitive. He was the glue and hustle guy for them I felt. Either way, nobody was beating that 96 Bulls squad. They were on a mission that year after that 95 embarrassment
@@Classicbasketballdvds Agreed. I think at best Orlando should have taken them to 6 games but that Bulls frontcourt was too much swarming Shaq by committee and Mike and Scottie pressuring their backcourt
Great video!
This is like NBA throwback tic tok edit. Great upload tho 👍🏿👍🏿
nice upload. I really wish the Pacers and Magic met in the playoffs that year. Too bad the Pacers got upset by Atlanta smh
