My mom passed away today (Nov. 1st) on her birthday after battling colon cancer for 5+ years. She was very excited to see the Rangers make it to the world series. I was able to show her the Game 1 walk off win while she was in hospice care. She fought hard and strong just like the Rangers did this this year. I am so proud of her and proud of this team.

Defeat the Diamondbacks in 5 games, with an epic comeback and walk-off in Game 1, back-to-back 5-run innings in Game 4, and an insane shutout in Game 5 to win it all for the first time ever. Also a perfect 11-0 on the road, a historic postseason from Adolis Garcia, and so much more. What a team and what a ride. The Texas Rangers are your World Series Champions in 2023!

During the final season he lived to see, he would always note what channel the Rangers were on and if I was watching (I'm a Red Sox fan and I don't pay much attention to the MLB in the regular season). He lived in the Dallas area during the Rangers first 10+ yrs in TX. This WS win will give a lot of comfort for my siblings and nephews here at the 2nd anniversary. He's celebrating the win in Heaven too.
I am legitimately almost crying. 2011 was so painful. It changed my nature as a sports fan, became so cynical and pessimistic and figured my teams would ultimately disappoint me. This truly changed everything. I believe again. Thank you, Rangers. Thank you so much .

I grew up a rangers fan, one of my earliest memories is being at the old old ball park with my parents watching them play the Yankees. I remember all the losses to the Yankees, the 2010 and 2011 losses, I went with my mom to the blue jays playoff series and experienced that… first thing I did after this win was call my parents and celebrate. I still can’t believe it. I wanted it as a fan, I wanted it for the fans out there, I wanted it for the players, and I wanted it for Eric Nadel and the rest of the broadcast team. But especially Eric, rangers baseball isn’t the same without him. Thanks to Bochy, CY, JD, ownership, and these players. Y’all may have aged me 20 years with the ups and downs and nail biters, but it was all worth it. Rejoice everyone, they WENT AND TOOK IT.
I had so much fun watching this team, and had no expectations, but am pleasantly surprised. Congrats to y'all, well earned. Sports in Texas has been very interesting in my years of watching. I watched the local teams in the 80s (Cowboys, Mavs, Rangers), after so many long-suffering years of struggling teams, I've now seen the fourth championship team from the DFW region. Three of those championships I watched with my dad, wish he could've stuck around for the fourth one. I was crushed in 2011 because I thought that’d be the closest they’d ever get in my lifetime. I did shed a couple tears last night after they won and watching them celebrate on the field! I took my son to the Fathers Day game this year, so I’m glad that him and I can say that his first game was the year they won the World Series! Thanks for a great season, even if we couldn’t watch it because of all the Bally Sports business!

From a long time 65 year old Yankee fan, I congratulate the Texas Rangers the 2023 World Series champions of MLB Baseball. Nathan Eovaldi has pitched his butt off for the past 4 years. He was with the Yankees but they let him go after Tommy John surgery. Just look what he has done since...a great pitcher. Andrew Heaney is also a former Yankee that they either let get away or traded away but he has done a great job for the Rangers. After all those years in the 90's of getting beat by the Yankees. The Texas Rangers have earned everything they got and they are good enough to repeat next year !!

It also should not be overlooked that the Rangers won all 11 of their road games in these playoffs. That’s a record that could well be untouchable. Well-deserved doesn’t feel like enough to say to describe this club’s first title, but there isn’t much in the language of English that’s G-rated which would be any better. Congrats Rangers.
Grew up a Rangers fan. Remember going to The Ballpark in Arlington now Choctaw Stadium. Remember the 2010 and 2011 World Series. I just knew something was different about this team. I would have been shocked if they lost. I knew Marcus would find it. I did not doubt this team when El-Bombi and Mad Max went down for the rest of the series. This team was special.
Same brother. Choctaw stadium is amazing crazy how they built the new one right next to it. I've lived in Dallas most of my life when I moved here from Mexico and let me tell ya I love Texas. Went to the opening day this year and I knew this year was different after a few games.

Thinking of Brandon Peterson, an awesome young man and friend who was a first responder in the Arlington area. Brandon lost his life to cancer a couple of years ago. He was a great father and husband and, of course, one of the best Texas Rangers fans I've ever known... he had met many Rangers players over the years, getting their autographs. He loved baseball. He was always at the Rangers games whenever he could be. Many knew Brandon and recognized him...even Josh Hamilton. Many first responders, fire trucks, local police were part of Brandon's incredible funeral procession to the new Globe Life Stadium... firetrucks, ambulances, and police cars lined the overpasses with first responders saluting as the procession went by... Brandon's funeral was held at third base in Globe Life Stadium with many friends, family, and colleagues filling up the stands on the third base side. It was my first time in the stadium. I'll never forget the display of honor and love for Brandon and his family. I only wish Brandon could have been here to experience the joy of this victory, but I know he is in a better place. Thank you to the Rangers organization for making this happen so Brandon could "head home" in a memorable way...
I Cannot stress enough how improbable this win was, the double digit number of base runners Arizona didn’t get home; the 6 innings of no hit baseball Gallen threw in a WS elimination game…( establishing himself as That Guy IMO). The future is bright for Texas fans!

Semien finally stepped up when needed most after the loss of Garcia and Sborz was dropping RIDICULOUS off speed pitches to close it out. Man, those Rangers earned every inning, every run, every out, every win. Texas should be really proud of their team’s accomplishment. Hats off to the team and fans for being patient, classy, and tenacious. Congrats to the Rangers and their fans. They fought and earned every inch.

Nathan Eovaldi has pitched his butt off for the past 4 years.
He was with the Yankees but they let him go after Tommy John surgery.
Just look what he has done since...a great pitcher.
Andrew Heaney is also a former Yankee that they either let get away or traded away but he has done a great job for the Rangers.
After all those years in the 90's of getting beat by the Yankees.
The Texas Rangers have earned everything they got and they are good enough to repeat next year !!

It also should not be overlooked that the Rangers won all 11 of their road games in these playoffs. That’s a record that could well be untouchable.
Well-deserved doesn’t feel like enough to say to describe this club’s first title, but there isn’t much in the language of English that’s G-rated which would be any better. Congrats Rangers.
Grew up a Rangers fan. Remember going to The Ballpark in Arlington now Choctaw Stadium. Remember the 2010 and 2011 World Series. I just knew something was different about this team. I would have been shocked if they lost. I knew Marcus would find it. I did not doubt this team when El-Bombi and Mad Max went down for the rest of the series. This team was special.
Same brother. Choctaw stadium is amazing crazy how they built the new one right next to it. I've lived in Dallas most of my life when I moved here from Mexico and let me tell ya I love Texas. Went to the opening day this year and I knew this year was different after a few games.

Thinking of Brandon Peterson, an awesome young man and friend who was a first responder in the Arlington area. Brandon lost his life to cancer a couple of years ago. He was a great father and husband and, of course, one of the best Texas Rangers fans I've ever known... he had met many Rangers players over the years, getting their autographs. He loved baseball. He was always at the Rangers games whenever he could be. Many knew Brandon and recognized him...even Josh Hamilton. Many first responders, fire trucks, local police were part of Brandon's incredible funeral procession to the new Globe Life Stadium... firetrucks, ambulances, and police cars lined the overpasses with first responders saluting as the procession went by... Brandon's funeral was held at third base in Globe Life Stadium with many friends, family, and colleagues filling up the stands on the third base side. It was my first time in the stadium. I'll never forget the display of honor and love for Brandon and his family. I only wish Brandon could have been here to experience the joy of this victory, but I know he is in a better place. Thank you to the Rangers organization for making this happen so Brandon could "head home" in a memorable way...
I Cannot stress enough how improbable this win was, the double digit number of base runners Arizona didn’t get home; the 6 innings of no hit baseball Gallen threw in a WS elimination game…( establishing himself as That Guy IMO). The future is bright for Texas fans!

I have fond memories of listening to Ranger games on AM radio in the summer of 1984. Rusty Staub was their best player. Now they're finally World Series champions.

Semien finally stepped up when needed most after the loss of Garcia and Sborz was dropping RIDICULOUS off speed pitches to close it out. What a game...what a series...what a season by these tough, resilient Rangers. Thank you to every member of the Ranger organization for this year.
